It was a regular saturday night. A night many people wait eagerly for, thinking they will find their one. But at last, it ends the same way every year. Well, at least for Jeonghan it does.
The annual party at the 'International Carat Dance Academy' is a party held every year as said by the name. It is to introduce new participants and students to each other.
Jeonghan just stood their in a corner, drinking fruit punch from his red solo cup. At first he was also very excited about these parties, thinking that maybe he will also have his k-drama moment. But now it all seemed so useless. After his last relationship going into shatters, Jeonghan had no plans to get in a new one for a long time.
Speaking of his last relationship, Jeonghan eyes that had been wandering the place for the past 45 minutes suddenly landed on someone who looked way too familiar. And that's when he realised it was his ex, Hong Jisoo or Joshua as they like to call him.
Jeonghan and Joshua went to the same high school. With both being fantastic dancers and school heart throbs, there were many rumours of them being together. And funny enough, they were true. Some also thought they would be rivals with the heavy compitition between them but that was just an act to fool their parents whom they still hadn't come out to.
Things were going great. Life was good. Jeonghan and Joshua were ment for each other. That was until some jealous girl spread rumours of Joshua cheating on Jeonghan. You guessed it, she liked Jeonghan and was jealous of Joshua. Jeonghan didn't believe it at first. He trusted Joshua and knew Joshua wasn't that type of person. His views were immediately changed when one day he saw Joshua kissing someone else in the janitor's closet. Or atleast that's what Jeonghan remembers. After that he completely cut Joshua out of his life. Jeonghan is a very sweet and caring person but he's also quick to react to anything negative. Even if that means making the wrong choice.
For a moment, Jeonghan just stood there starring at the man that wasn't that far out of his reach. He observed Joshua's outfit and that's when he saw that the other was wearing a beautiful, white, silk dress shirt that Jeonghan himself bought when they were together. The shirt was tucked in some black jeans that had very fine glitter on it. Complementing the glitter, Joshua also had some sparking eye shadow and a gold chain with shining earrings on. And to top it off, his sleeves were rolled up and the first two buttons of his shirt were open, exposing his beautiful skin and unmarked collarbone.
"Found someone?"
Jeonghan flinched harder then he should've when the voice suddenly spoke to him. He looked over to see his friend Seokmin standing there, smirking.
"N-no." Jeonghan replied. It was at that moment he realised that he had been checking Joshua out.
"Sure. Whatever you say." Seokmin said as he turned to face towards the man Jeonghan was staring at. "He's fine though." He suggested
Jeonghan also turned to face Joshua and that's when he felt a rage of anger burst through him. Joshua was laughing out loud with people Jeonghan didn't recognise. It was as if Joshua was mocking Jeonghan. Showing him how happy he was without him while wearing the shirt that Jeonghan had bought for him. And now he would go to the same academy as him? Jeonghan could not stand that. He couldn't stand seeing his ex that cheated on him.
The red cup that was in a perfect condition seconds ago was now crushed and Jeonghan didn't even bother to finish the rest of the fruit punch. He just threw the cup in the nearest bin and removed his eyes from Joshua.
