A great Sunday||ch-2

Jeonghan groaned as he turned his alarm off. His headache wasn't helping his anger either. He forcefully got himself out of bed and opened the blinds. It was a fresh sunday with birds chirping and the sun having an orange-red hue at 8 in the morning. A view like this was enough to get anyone ready for their upcoming day, but for Jeonghan it was a completely different situation.

Jeonghan hated waking up early. He likes to spend his weekends staying in. You know, get his beauty sleep. But his plans of sleeping like a bear were ruined when he received a message from his dance mentor last night.

"Attention all students,

Students selected for the upcoming compitition, please be present in the practice room tomorrow at 8:30am for a short meeting. Don't bring any access material and make sure to be on time.

Mr. Kim"

-the note said.

Jeonghan got out of the shower and wore the exact same pair of clothes he was wearing two days ago. Black sweatpants and a white shirt. And just in case it got cold, he threw over a grey sweatshirt. With almost a minute to spare, he dashed out of his apartment and ran to the studio.

"Now if anyone has any further questions you may raise you hand."

Mr. Kim explained. The past 20 minutes were just spent with Mr. Kim trying to explain the rules of the compitition and how they all have to be very serious about it. Like they all were some 5 year olds who didn't know how to stop eating dirt.

"Yes Jeonghan?" Mr. Kim said as he saw Jeonghan raise his hand

"Is this why you called us all here?" Jeonghan asked in a rather offensive tone

"Why? Is there any problem?" Mr. Kim replied, returning the attitude. "Oh I'm sorry, did I ruin your sunday?"

Jeonghan barely stopped himself from rolling his eyes.

"Now listen here Jeonghan, if you're not going to corporate then your allowed to leave. There are many kids out there who would die to be in your place. So if you don't want to behave then leave as early as possible." Mr. Kim said, showing a sarcastic smile

The atmosphere became tense and everyone felt like they couldn't breath. Jeonghan kept his head low and bowed as a sign of apology. Their class was dismissed with everyone sharing and breath of relief.

Maybe Jeonghan took his teachers words about the beauty sleep a little too literally as he already made plans to go home and sleep.

He was just about to leave when Mingyu called out to him "Hey Jeonghan-ah!"

Jeonghan looked over to see everyone huddled together like a bunch of sheeps. He gave them all a judgemental look.

"We're going out. Wanna come?" Mingyu said, looking like an excited puppy

"No." Jeonghan blankly said and turned around

"Oh come on, stop being a moody bitch. Let's go and have fun." Mingyu held Jeonghan's hand and showed him his puppy like eyes

Jeonghan signed. He let go of his morning anger and decided to give in.

Mingyu dragged both of them to their group of friends who were slowly walking away. Once they all noticed Jeonghan they started teasing him. Mostly about the beauty sleep. Jeonghan couldn't help but laugh along with them. Spending the weekend with his friends was way better then staying in.
