"We are arriving in London in five minutes. Thank you for flying with us!" The pilot's voice sounded through the plane's speakers.

Harry leaned against the window, letting his gaze glide over the millions of lights illuminating the city. They were sharpening and growing with every second the plane kept zooming down to earth. These lights that were bright enough to be seen from space, bright enough make to moths mistake them for the sun, bright enough to keep life going even when nature had wrapped her black blanket of darkness around the country.

And still, they weren't half as bright as the light he was returning to now. His light. The one that once changed his entire life with just a flash of that smile that was so gleaming it could outshine the sun and every star in the nightsky combined. The one with those eyes that looked like the surface of an ocean hit by rays of sparkling sunlight. Even after thirteen years he could still get lost in those hues of deep blue.

A faint smile grazed Harry's lips and he didn't even notice the plane touching firm ground, too consumed by his thoughts about Louis, his light, his sunshine. Now it was only a matter of minutes until his world would be brightened up again.

As he got out of the plane, two of his security guards was already waiting for him, flanking him immediately to guide him out of the airport. At the gates, there was Gemma, his sister, grinning at him impishly. He returned the grin and quickened his pace. As soon as he reached her, they flung into eachother's arms. Pulling apart, Gemma reached up to mess up his chocolate curls. "Haven't seen a hairdresser on tour, have you? Look at how long these got!" She dramatically gesticulated in the direction of his head, wearing a fake-shocked expression. Harry playfully shoved her and pouted "Shut it, Gems, I think it looks nice"

"Yeah, yeah, debatable, little bro, but you know what definitely does look nice? The chocolate brownie I got you!" She was waving a small brown paper bag in front of his face. "No way! You're the best!" Harry beamed like a three-year-old in front of the christmas tree.

They climbed into Gemma's car to go to Louis' and Harry's shared house in the outskirts of town. Harry was whining for the entire ride about how much he had already missed Louis, and while Gemma tried to be interested in his thoughts and feelings for the first two minutes, she zoned out after failing to explain for a third time that he would see Louis in just ten minutes.

When they reached their destination, Harry bolted out of the car and towards the front door without even waiting for his sister to come along. Only seconds before getting to the door, it opened - and there he stood. His smile was so bright Harry wondered how it was possible to look at it without being blinded, pearly white teeth on full display. His eyes were gleaming pools of glacial water, framed by delicate lashes as black as the night. His soft, coffee brown hair was gently swooped across his forehead and the slight stubble on his chin defined the curve of his sharp jaw.

Harry was still running towards him, taking in his radiating presence. Then, he lounged into his arms, Louis' arms. They held onto eachother like their lives were depending on it, Louis' face buried in Harry's shoulder, Harry's head resting on top of Louis', pressing feathery kisses into his hair ever so lightly. Their eyes were closed and they were inhaling eachother's scent, savouring it after such a long time apart. "I missed you so much, Lou" Harry mumbled into Louis' hair. "I missed you more, Hazza" Louis sighed into Harry's shoulder. "Not possible!"

After a time that neither of them could have determined the duration of, they pulled back slightly and joined their lips in a loving, passionate kiss. When they finally pulled apart, they spotted Gemma, who had apparently closed the door and was rolling her eyes at them, trying to hide her fond smile.

Louis detached himself from Harry for a second to briefly hug and greet Gemma, then he returned and wrapped his arm around his boy's waist, their sides pressed against one another. Gemma sighed. "Let me take a picture, I can't take this anymore. Why am I so single?" Louis chuckled, then turned Harry to face him, pulling him in by his small waist. Harry draped his arms over Louis' shoulders and Louis pressed a big wet kiss to his cheek, making Harry giggle at the camera.

Gemma snapped a picture, capturing Harry's bright laugh and the love visible in both their bodies and their eyes.
