January 1st, 1965.

It was 3 am, and the sound of their newborn son Bentley crying pierced through the silence of the night. Exhausted from the day's events and eager for some much-needed sleep, you couldn't help but feel frustration building within you. "I'm going to kill your brother Bobby for waking up our son at this hour," you said with annoyance as you slid out of bed.

Jack, your loving husband glanced at you, his eyes filled with tenderness and empathy. He knew how tired you were, but he also understood the stresses that came with being a new parent again. He got out of bed, his broad silhouette casting a gentle shadow across the room.

"Darling, let me take care of Bentley," Jack whispered soothingly. "Go back to bed and get some rest. I've got this."

You reluctantly agreed, grateful for his understanding and support. As you crawled back into bed, you marveled at the way Jack effortlessly stepped into his role as a father, even amidst the demands of his presidency.

From the bedroom door, you watched as Jack scooped up Bentley in his strong arms. Gently swaying, he whispered comforting words to your son, his voice carrying a sense of calm and reassurance. The rhythmic movement seemed to lull Bentley back to sleep, his cries gradually subsiding.

Jack turned to you and smiled, his eyes sparkling with a mixture of fatigue and pride. "He's settled now," he said softly. "You rest, darling. I'll stay here with him for a while."

Grateful for his unwavering support, you closed your eyes and allowed yourself to drift off to sleep. In that moment, you couldn't help but reflect on the incredible journey you and Jack had embarked upon together - from the whirlwind romance to the trials and triumphs of his presidency, and now, the joys and challenges of parenthood.

As you slept, a sense of tranquility washed over you, knowing that your son was in the hands of a father who loved him dearly. And in the darkness of that early morning, you found solace, not only in the love between you and Jack but also in the hope and promise that the future held for your family.
