"Wake up, honey. It's time to go to school," Mom called out softly, before walking over to the windowsill to draw back the curtains. Warm sunlight flooded the room, brightening every corner.

"I've made your favorite muffins with maple syrup. Let's go downstairs!" Mom gently stroked Wade's head, speaking in a way that seemed different from her usual tone. Wade couldn't help but feel like something was off. He rolled over in bed and accidentally fell off, jolting him back to reality.

"Ouch!" he groaned while getting up, feeling disappointed that it was all just a dream. He glanced at the alarm clock and realized that he was running late.

"God, I'm going to be late!" he exclaimed.

In a hurry, he quickly changed into his yellowed, smelly, and wrinkled school uniform, grabbed his schoolbag, and rushed out of the house to make it to school.

Wade arrived at the classroom 15 minutes before the bell rang, and the previously noisy class fell silent as all eyes turned towards him, causing occasional laughter. He walked to his seat and found his desk covered in abusive words and graffiti. His drawers were also filled with garbage and rotting kitchen waste. Although he was used to these things, it still made him feel lonely, especially when surrounded by so many classmates. Exhausted, he cleared the garbage from his desk with one hand, lay his head down, and promptly fell asleep. Suddenly, a bucket of dirty water was thrown at him, and before he could react, one of the bullies grabbed his hair and pulled him up.

"I'm calling you, loser!"

Wade didn't resist and let the bullies drag him all the way to the toilet. Several strong bullies surrounded him in the corner and began punching, kicking, and spitting at him. It wasn't until the bell rang that they stopped, pretending like nothing had happened, and left the toilet, leaving him alone in a corner, looking extremely embarrassed. Wade struggled to get up and limped back to the classroom. The students whispered amongst themselves, but the teacher looked at him indifferently, pretending not to see him, and continued with the class.

Wade silently walked back to his seat, where his classmates proceeded to throw trash at him once again. Rolling his eyes in exasperation, he left the school without even bothering to take his bag.
