Kunjal was startled after waking up from the dream, it was so real, that she couldn't tell the difference. after that she struggled to sleep a little, however, she slept like a baby.
Her day was so normal like it was so normal that Kunjal herself doubted that 'Is it really her life?', a normal day, normal classes, normal lectures, normal homework, everything so normal but something didn't seem right to her
Her gut feeling strongly says something is abnormal!
yes, it does seem like that,
but what is that?
Kunjal doesn't know.
she has been feeling like that all day today, At the end of the day, Kunjal reached home by taking the school bus.
when she entered home, her mom asked "You look tired today, sweety?"
Kunjal couldn't say that she had been getting this weird feeling all day today, she said a simple lie " We had P.T class today"
"do you have fun?" her mom asked
"Yeah" she said monotonously
"let me get something to drink" Kunjal's mom hurried to the kitchen. she got an orange juice for her. and Kunjal went to her room and decided to do some homework
but 'accidentally' fell asleep on the study table
-in her dream:
she woke up, she already knew that she was not in her room but in a different place, more like in a dream.
she sighed and thought' What is it this time?'
Krishna said "You are too young to sigh that many times"
"Krishna?" Kunjal showed the same shocked reaction again
" Didn't I already say that we are going to meet again?" Krishna asked
" Yeah, you did" Kunjal said slowly
"Then why are you so shocked?" Krishna asked again
" I thought it was just a dream- wait! it's not a dream" she said loudly as she realized something, she looked at Krishna silently asking him to confirm her words, and he nodded at her.
there is silence around them, after a bit. Kunjal asked " can-can I touch you?"
Krishna smirked while tilting his head with a naughty questioning gaze " I mean your hand?" Kunjal said hurriedly ,she dont want any misunderstandings.
Krishna laughed and said yes to her, Kunjal took his hand, it was unbelievable she thought "so beautiful" she said her mind words out, she has literally twinkles in her eyes.
Then Krishna took her to a place where is they are not alone, there are a few people whom she don't know, but she just followed his footsteps, Krishna turned back to her and said " can we a play a game?"
"a game?" she return asked
"yes, what should we play?" Krishna asked Kunjal, looking straight into her eyes, she blushed.
"a-a-anyt-thing" she words shuttered, she is so nervous that she couldn't look into his eyes
"okay fine," he said " everyone?" he called those people are playing with each other " she is Kunjal, our sakhi" said as he looking at her then looking at them again.
A girl from the group approached Kunjal, but she took a step back, slightly standing behind Krishna, with big eyes that held confusion and alertness.
"they all are friends, be at ease" Krishna said placed his hand at the back of her reassuringly. Kunjal nodded at his comment, and took other girl hand which was extended towards her
After spending sometime with all the people, Kunjal feel at ease, she felt like she knew them all long, she felt like she was one of them, the feeling was new but with oddly felt like home
One of them asked Krishna to play with them, he said okay so they played hide and seek, Kunjal joined them . she had so much fun that night.
She was smiling like a fool, Krishna got teased by the group because he lost the game.
"Kunjal..." he called her in a whinny voice "see, this sakhi, she is teasing me, this is not fair" he complained, looking so much seriously
He looked like he got bullied by their friends, whining like a kid, Kunjal was so amused by this scene. Like who could have imagine a situation where the lord of this universe, the Supreme god who is the absolute protector and sustainer, who is beyond human comprehension would come whining about something so trivial as teasing by his mates
Kunjal could control herself and pinched his both cheeks "how can you be soo cute?" she literally have heart eyes, she was in a daze by his eternal beauty, she was like so drunk by his enchanting lotus eyes.
"I'm not cute, you are!" he stomped his foot and dragged her with him to a quiet place
" so do you enjoy your time here?" Krishna asked her, with more mature voice than before
" a lot actually" she said with a bright smile.
"go to sleep" he petted her head
" can I stay few more minutes?" she begged with her eyes
" dear, you need to sleep" Krishna said
" Yeaaaah" she sighed, hanging her head
" you will have more fun next time, I'm sure of that" he comforted her
"okay then" she immediately smiled bright.
With that Kunjal went to sleep peacefully that night.
Krishna says:
Just in case nobody told you lately, you've done a great job in holding onto yourself through all these difficult times,
I'm proud of you!
