chapter 7 - Into town

i was taking care of Larry the hamster in my tent when i heard the yelling outside i sighed and grabbed the fire extinguisher and walked outside then walked towards the cabin Gwen was in seeing as David was walking in there when i got there Gwen was telling David that he shouldn't have done those two camps on the same day i walked towards them and Gwen waved but David looked a bit confused i then sprayed him with the fire extinguisher then gave them a thumbs up i then asked Gwen when they were taking me to drop off Larry Gwen then gave me an apologetic look then turned to David and said "go get out of here" then David was confused so Gwen said "your not going to do anyone any good if you keep letting max get to you like this take a break i'll cover underwater basket weaving tomorrow" she then threw a pair of keys into David's hands and continued "take the camp-mobile and get out of dodge for today reset" then David said confused "what should i do?" then Gwen shrugged and said "how the hell should i know go into town and do whatever it is you do to blow off steam before you kill someone" then David started smiling and replied "that's not a bad idea" then Gwen also said "oh do you mind taking y/n with you too i don't want us to keep forgetting about bringing Larry to his new home" then David smiled and ruffled my hair and smiled and said "sure! this'll be so much fun we're going to have a blast y/n" then he began walking out with me following neither of us noticing the person who was standing near the window listening to us talk

i walked to my tent and put back the fire extinguisher and grabbed Larry and put him in his cage and my wallet that has a few dollars in case i want to buy something while there i then walked out of my tent holding Larry who was in his cage i then saw David who was waiting for me i walked towards him he smiled and we walked towards the car once inside we started the drive to town after a bit David put in a tape of the audio addition of the farmers almanac is was kinda of boring but i distracted myself by playing with Larry and giving him treat's

we finally stopped the car and got out we then split up i walked towards a store called lil country style which was owned by a very nice woman named Claire who has two kids that really want a pet hamster and when she learned i had one that need's a new home she talked to me and i decided to give Larry to her after i walked out with $10 that she gave me for some reason then i saw David who was waiting for me nearby i walked towards him then we walked towards a shop called Atlas hardware not seeing max and nikki getting kicked out of a place called muffin tops then following us around town while walking around he allowed me to get a DIY play cage for muack the platypus and any other animal i may find while walking towards the car David saw something in the tech store window he looked upset then i saw him bring out max, neil, and nikki? i was concerned but brushed it off David made them sit in the back seat they all started talking while i was looking out the window in curiosity then me and David got out of the car and began setting up the camp site when max saw it he seemed pretty upset but nikki seemed happy
