Chapter 8 - David gets hard

Y/N P.O.V.

we were all standing outside the mess hall while David was telling us what we did this week and what camp we are gonna do today when Gwen said "oh no" and David asked who it's gonna be today then Gwen said "it's Nerf" then her and David started panicking because it's basically boot camp then Nerf yelled "Fuck yeah scare me strait. in all seriousness though if i don't see definitive results i'm contacting my parents" then David was about to say something but was cut off by Nerf saying "AND DON'T BE A FUCKING-" and the rest of his dialog was cut off by censoring noises playing which caused me and max to be confused then the sound stopped and Nerf finished off his dialog with "- or i'll tell them you touched me" and then Scottie honked his clown horn

I was walking around the camp when i saw David kick open the door and then walk over to Nerf and say something to him then Nerf stabbed him I then brought David to the mess hall and asked Gwen to go get the bandages and disinfectant while David was crying then when Gwen brought them to me i told David as i was unscrewing the disinfectant bottle "hey this is going to hurt a bit" then he looked at me confused as I put the disinfectant on the wound and he started crying again but much louder then after I started wrapping the bandages around his hand while max said "you're pathetic" then David said "guys I just don't know if this whole tough guy technique is going to work what if we just I don't know give him a hug those always make me feel better" then max jumped up onto the table and yelled "NO HUG'S" then slapped David which made Gwen look at him weird then max said "you just gotta change you're perspective on life tell me how do you feel about your Co counselor Gwen" then David started listing good thing's about Gwen while i was nodding my head then he was interrupted by max saying "no no you're being positive again Gwen's the fucking worst she slacks off, read's garbage and has no idea what's she doing with her life" then Gwen got really mad and said "what..." then max pointed at her and said "there's no time travelling doctor coming to save you Gwen get your shit together!" then Gwen started crying and running away saying something about British babies which i found a bit weird then max looked at David and said "now it's your turn" while David looked a bit scared as they started walking away I was getting more bandages for when he come's back

a couple minutes later they did neither me nor Gwen were really that surprised about what they did neither me nor Gwen were really that surprised about I then redid the process on his other hand then max said "man he is way more fucked up then i thought" then Gwen "you two are idiots being tough isn't the same as being an asshole you guys got to take this from a more psychological approach" then max asked how she know and she said "as a matter of fact I dual majored in psychology" I then finished wrapping up David's hand while max said "so you have two useless degrees" then she sadly said "yeah.." then David said "what are you suggesting" then Gwen said "well.."

David was sitting on a couch thing while me, Gwen, and max stand beside him then David called Nerf over and said "I think it's time we all had a little talk" Nerf the replied "oh so we're doing the whole Freudian thing now everyone wants to fuck their mom get over it" then I sat their kinda awkwardly for a few seconds because I never met my mom I then snapped out of it when David said "Nerf we feel as though you have a relatively strong grasp on the event's that have led to your negative behavior and we wanted to walk though them with you together in hopes of finding a solution this isn't going to be easy but we think PUT THE KNIFE DOWN" i then look over and see him threatening Harrison for his wallet then he put his knife away David then continued talking "but we think that this is the only way we're going to get to the roof of your issues so Nerf what do you say" then Nerf sat on the couch we placed near the chair and he said "well i it all started when i joined the ballet..." he and David then started having a therapy session

"...so really all these behavioral problems seem to be stemming from the vast variety of issues but what's truly important is that i don't allow societies labels to define who i am that choice belongs to me and me alone and i think i finally understand that" Nerf said David who was tearing up asked what he's going to do now and Nerf said "Stab my dad!" and David said "No what why" then Nerf said something about breaking the cycle and that he's just a kid i didn't hear much due to me being tired of this he then threw a knife near David's head and started running off while trying to stab some of the other campers so when Gwen said "Jesus what do we do" and then max said "and where does he keep getting knifes" i then got up from the floor and said "i'm too tired for this" and started walking over to him while David tried telling me to stop when i got over to Nerf he was trying to attack Nerris so i yelled "HEY nerf" to get his attention and when he looked at me i did the only thing i could think of i slapped him in the face he then paused while everyone gasped he then dropped his knife and started rubbing his cheek he then said "wow that really hurt geez i can't believe i've been subjecting people to physical violence like this i feel kinda bad about my behavior" then David said shocked "what?" then Nerf continued "yeah i'm gonna go sit down in my tent and think about what i did today sorry everyone" he then walked away while everyone was still stunned about what i did while i just stood there tired of this then Gwen walked up and said "huh i guess you did it y/n good job" the David started saying we need to talk about this and how this is not okay then max walked over to me and said "well i guess at the end of the day sometimes you just gotta hit kids also y/n i didn't know you had it in you" he then walked away still stunned i then walked back to my tent to go to bed while thinking 'today was so tiring'
