Klaus's POV:

I smile, standing in the doorway of Lorelei's bedroom, watching as she sleeps, curled up under the covers, snoring softly.

It had been a month since we made the addition of the BDSM Dom/Slave relationship into our everyday lives. Taking it slow, we went through a checklist of everything either of us is willing to try. We had a few sessions involving light pain play. Her reaction to it all had thrilled me. Lorelei loved the push and pull that came with the relationship.

As a plus, pure dominance is the only thing that Lorelei backs down to.

Something I had a surplus of.

The only rule she'd pushed a bit on was the requirement that she stay in the house at night instead of sleeping out in the forest.

Walking out of the house, I speed over to the Lockwood cabin where Tyler stands in the yard, alone. I scan the area but there is not a single other soul accompanying him. Feeling the annoyance begin to rise, he shifts a bit back and forth, trying to keep his composure.

"Where are Bree and Carson?"

"They left."

"I didn't dismiss them."

"They skipped town Klaus."

He continues to shift about nervously. Taking a step towards him, I see him move to take a step backwards but pauses halfway through, unsure of what I'm planning. Not sure if he should run or attack. I can see the unease written all over his face. Rushing at him, I grab him by his neck. He coughs as my grip tightens.

"Give me one reason why I shouldn't rip your heart from your chest and leave your rotting corpse for your mother to find."

Like every other that had come before him, I can see the terror and fear of death in his eyes.

"I know where they are!"

"You're going to find them and bring them back to my house. Alive. I need a word with them both." I say as I release him

He turns to leave.

"Oh and Tyler?"

He turns.

"Make no mistake, return without them and I'll make good on that threat."

As he disappears, I pull out my phone.

"Stella, find Evans and meet me at the mansion."

I end the call and sigh.

This wasn't going to end well.

I head to the mansion, not pleased with this turn of events. Granted, with my level of spies, there was a chance they wouldn't have gotten out of Mystic Falls without me hearing word. Still, they had betrayed the deal they'd made with me. For that, they'd have to pay.

Lorelei's POV:

I'm sitting in the living room on the couch with Rebecca, when the door slams open. I'm excited at first when I see Bree standing there, but I quickly realize as everyone shuffled in that something else is going on and they aren't simply returning home after doing whatever they've been up to for the day. Something was wrong. Based on everybody's body language, they were scared, which means something happened.

I turned to Nik, but he avoids my gaze.

" Bring them down to the dungeon." He orders

Stella and Evan, who were behind Tyler and were now grabbing Carson and Bree by their arm, getting ready to drag them away to the basement.

" You can't do this to us!"

"Oh, I think you'll find that I can." Nik says

He nods to Tyler, who swiftly breaks Carson's neck and begins bringing him down to the cellar, both arms under Carson's armpits, dragging him along the floor. I turn to Nik, anger rising between him and Bree.
