What ever happened
to truth and honesty?
Did we forget how to
open our mouths and
say what we really want to say?
We just sit here and
talk in circle after circle
accomplishing nothing
Ignoring the giant elephant
In the room, on your foot
I'm tired of empty speaking
I want truth from you
Even if the truth isn't
what I'd like to hear you say
At least then it'd be something real
But I don't even know if you're capable of that anymore
