after getting back from the mission, I felt like I needed to see my dad more often. he had this old naval hanger and told me to stop by whenever I wanted.
one afternoon I went there with my mom and Amelia. we got there to see Bradley and mav working on a plane.
aw, they look so cute together. mom said
hey blondie. Bradley said as I gave his a kiss
woah, since when were you guys together. mav asked in shock
they've Been having thing quite a while now. my mom replies while rooster has his hand around my waist
Amelia wonders off somewhere cuz she was bored.
do you guys practice safe? mav asks
oh my lord
Pete! penny yells as she slaps him on his arm
well what's the answer? he asked
well- um.. we do practice very safely, and um.. yea. rooster stutters
that's it? mav asked
Dad, I think you're freaking Bradley out. I say laughing
I'm kidding, you're a Bradshaw. you will always have my approval. he adds
thanks mav. rooster said with a smile
mav took my mom on a ride with his plane that's he has been fixing up, that left me some alone time with Bradley
Amber, what's your plan? he asked me
what do you mean? I ask
with life you know? are you going on deployment or? he asks nervously
well I don't know. I might retire. I've served the navy some time and I'm gonna focus on my personal life now. I say with a smile
Amber Benjamin,I don't ever wanna lose you, I know I can't live without you. you are the best thing that has happened to me. I know if my mom or dad were here right now they would be absolutely in love with you. I love you with all my life. he says. he then points up into the sky and I see the plane my dad and mom is in and it had a big banner behind it. the banner said "I ❤️Amber Benjamin"
I look at rooster laughing in tears. he drops to one knee and asked
Amber Benjamin Mitchell. will you marry me, and spend the rest of your life with me? he asked
of course Bradley! I say before kissing him
aww, please do this somewhere else. said Amelia
your just jealous cuz I got a hot fiancé. I say laughing
okay says the one marrying a chicken. she snaps back
me and Bradley got married a few months after the proposal. we invited a bunch of our friends and family. it was such a beautiful wedding. we bought a nice house off the coast of California, and just enjoyed life together
