A/N Hey look at that an update! Three cheers for me for remembering to finish this chapter.

It has been a few days since me and Zed made up, we definitely have been getting along more. He has been making more time to spend with me which hasn't been making Addison happy but it's a win-win for me.

And along with the good news, Zed's college interview went very well (except for he did get electrocuted by Addison multiple times.)

Today was the day of the cheer off, which everyone is excited about.

This morning though however I woke up not feeling well at all, but because I'm as stubborn as a mule I just shrugged it off and got dressed to go to school. Luckily today at school was rather easy considering it was a half day and all anyone including the teachers talked about was how Seabrook was going to win another cheer championship.

Once school was out the cheer squad left for an extra practice before the competition, and everyone else waited around town for the cheer off to start. Me, Wyatt, and Zed were sitting by the fountain that was in front of the entrance to the forbidden forest. We were just talking about random things until, one of the girls from school that I know walked by us. "those songs that you played today in music class were awesome, Zabrina! Next thing you know, we won't just be known for cheer but for also being the hometown of the next big singer in the world!" She said "Thanks, Nancy. But I think you overestimated my songs and my voice." "Are you kidding me? Your great! Oh, I got to go now I told my sister I would take her to the beach before we went to the cheer-off." She said before leaving.

"What songs was she talking about?" Wyatt asked me. "A couple of songs I wrote." "Don't be like that Zabrina come on sing it!" Zed encouraged. "Nope besides I don't have music." "Uh huh sure, I know that you always record the music for any songs you sing in public." "I really can't get out of this can I?" I asked them. They both responded by shaking their heads no. "Great, my brother and my boyfriend finally get along and it to team up on me!" "Yup, deal with it. Now sing." Zed said. "Both?" "Yes both." "Fine."

"This is the first one."

Making my plans to rule the world
Driving alone on Bridgetown Road
Cracks in the houses, shattered windows
Covington was more like home

Thunder in the blue skies
Lightning in the daylight
Storm clouds in our eyes
Tidal waves in my heart
Earthquakes in the still dark
Eclipses in the night

I'm going hungry these days, woah
Feast or famine
Running these days, woah
Feast or famine
Caught up in the headlights
Shadow in the moonlight
Breakdown, breakdown
Going hungry these days, woah
It's only feast or famine (oh-oh-oh)
It's only feast or famine (oh-oh-oh)

When we were young, we took the chances
That our parents never did
Breaking the glass, we made mistakes
And never thought too much of it

Thunder in the blue skies
Lightning in the daylight
Storm clouds in our eyes
Tidal waves in my heart
Earthquakes in the still dark
Eclipses in the night

I'm going hungry these days, woah
Feast or famine
Running these days, woah
Feast or famine
Caught up in the headlights
Shadow in the moonlight
Breakdown, breakdown
Going hungry these days, woah
It's only feast or famine (oh-oh-oh)
It's only feast or famine (oh-oh-oh)

Sometimes you know it's hard to breathe (it's hard to breathe)
Temptation makes it hard to see
The more I feel, the more I starve
I drank the darkness with the stars
My bones are all that's left to me

I'm going hungry these days, woah

I'm going hungry these days, woah
Feast or famine
Running these days, woah
Feast or famine
Caught up in the headlights.
Shadow in the moonlight
Breakdown, breakdown
Going hungry these days, woah
It's only feast or famine (oh-oh-oh)
It's only feast or famine (oh-oh-oh)

(A/N anyone who knows who wrote these songs has a new follower!)

Before they could say anything I started the next song.

When we were young we knew everything
Strength from our innocence
Taught us to paint with our words
As we grew tired and jaded
The colors are faded
Fire would no longer burn
All of the anger and hunger
The shapes and desires
Hanging to hope by a string
Never had doubts of the future
Knew we'd never get there
We are the kings of our dreams

All the best laid plans
Slipped through my hands
You know we can run till the day that we're dead
Or stay here and fight and pretend we're not scared
Can we make it back to the heroes we were?
'Cause we can scream till the world has gone deaf
Fall on our knees if that's all we've got left
Can we make it back to the heroes we were?

Can we save this?
And bring us back to the heroes we were
Can we save this?
And bring us back to the heroes we were

Empires have fallen and joy can be stolen
When things are much worse than you think
The strings all have broken, my memory holding
On to the songs that we sing
We started with something
But ended with nothing
Losing but praying to win
Let go as we're falling
I can't hear them calling
Give in to all of our sins

All the best laid plans
Slipped through my hands
You know we can run till the day that we're dead
Or stay here and fight and pretend we're not scared
Can we make it back to the heroes we were?
'Cause we can scream till the world has gone deaf
Fall on our knees if that's all we've got left
Can we make it back to the heroes we were?

Can we save this?
And bring us back to the heroes we were
Can we save this?
And bring us back to the heroes we were

When the future's ending
They will bleed you empty
Don't let me down
Don't let me down
Don't let me down
Yeah we could make it back then
Though all we have is nowhere
Turn it around
Turn it around
Turn it around

No one can find us when time has escaped us
How did we fall through the cracks?
It's empty out here where the world disappears
One day we'll find our way back
You know we can run till the day that we're dead
Or stay here and fight and pretend we're not scared
Can we make it back to the heroes we were?
'Cause we can scream till the world has gone deaf
Fall on our knees if that's all we've got left
Can we make it back to the heroes we were?

Can we save this?
And bring us back to the heroes we were
Can we save this?
And bring us back to the heroes...
Back to the heroes we were.

I finished the songs and looked at them wondering what they thought. "I love them! You should seriously start thinking about a career in singing you are really good at it." Zed said giving me a hug. "They were beautiful, you should sing the second one at graduation. I know principal Lee asked you to sing." Wyatt said. "Are they really that good though?" "Yes of course they are! Now come on let's get froyo before the cheer off starts I been wanting some all day." "Of course, Wyatt. I think you can eat all the froyo in the world and still want froyo." I said laughing. "I remember you being like that when you first tried Belgin chocolates. In fact, you still are that way." Zed said throwing his arm around my shoulders while Wyatt held my hand as we went to the froyo shop.

The rest of the day was spent laughing, playing and jokes until Wyatt went back to the den and I fell asleep looking out my window at the stars that shined above.
