Where's shanaya? [Chapter 11 contd.]

Amol- woh kya hai na, hum logon ne milke dev ke liye, ek surprise plan kiya hai.

The projector starts with the videos from dev's home showing how he used to harm jhanvi and abuse her when he didn't 'obey' him. Everyone was shocked by this revelation. Dev was stupefied. Another spotlight was on anaya who took jhanvi to the center of the stage.

Anaya- so guys, meet jhanvi, dev banerjee's ex wife. Jisko physical tortue aur doemstic abuse kar kar ke, iss dev ne aaj ek emotionally unstable insaan bana diya hai.

Everyone was gossiping and dev was about to leave when another footage played. This one showed how dev tortured shivya. Everyone was beyond shocked. Chachiji walked up to shivya and hugged her. Tears rolled down the cheeks of shivya.

Amol- please be seated everyone. Aap toh inse mile honge? ... mere bhai ki cousin, shivya di. Same story, bass yahan iss dev ki wajah se ek masum ko puri zindagi sazaa milegi. Aur shanaya...

Shanaya's picture was displayed. Chachiji was shook. She threw maamiji a disgusted look and was about to walk up to dev when shivya held her back.

Amol (calling shanaya)- shanaya?...

Rohan (running an eye across the hall)- amol dev kahin nahin hai.

Shravan (turning the lights on)- dekh kya rahe ho dhundo shanu ko... (receiving dev's call)... hello?

Dev- kaha tha, kaha tha ki chup chap suman ki shaadi ho jaane do. Kuch nahin karta shanaya ko.

Shravan- tune agar shanaya ko kuch bhi kiya, i swear misha ke saath usse zyada bura hoga.

Dev (in a mocking tone)- haan, tu jaise jail ke andar jaake usko torture karega?

Misha (in a shallow voice)- dev...

Dev couldn't believ what he was hearing. It was misha on the call. He checked the number again to check if it was real and he wasn't hallucinating.

Dev (confused)- misha?... tu bahar kaise?

Shravan (taking over)- tujhe badla lena ho mujhse mil, warna jitna rehaan ke saath hua, uss se zyada teri behen ke saath bhi ho sakta hai.

Dev- shravan malhotra, don't you dare...

Shravan- DON'T YOU DARE, touch my shanu. Jab tak woh safe hai, teri behen theek hai. Uski ek awaaz, aur teri behen ko aise torture karunga, tu khud nahin pehchaan payega.

Dev hangs up. Everything comes to a still thinking what to do next. Suddenly shravan gets up and starts finding his car keys.

Shravan- shivya, number tracing pe daal aur amol tu ispe nazar rakh. Main shanu ko leke aaya.

Shravan was about to walk out without uttering any other word when suman walked up to him.

Suman (holding his shirt)- tum akele nahin jaa rahe, i'm coming.

When he didn't say anything pushkar understood he wasn't in his right mind. So he pulled suman back and assured her that everything will be fine.

Pushkar- tu mat aa, i'll be going. Don't worry

Rohan- bhai shanaya...

Pushkar- she'll be fine, don't worry. Tu yahan sabka dhyan rakh.

Shravan and pushkar leave. Chachiji was crying holding shivya in her embrace. Amol and rohan took misha to a corner and tied her to a chair. Suman walked up to maamiji angrily.
