The Basus gathered on the dinning table for the dinner. They were surprised seeing the Bajaj side empty.

Nivi - Kamal hai ! Bajaj family kahi dikhai nahi de rahi. Roz to boht happy family vibes dete the ye dinning table par.

Mohini - Achha hai na. Kam se kam hum shanti se khana to kha payenge.

Anurag was confused as to where Prerna was. He saw Chandu doing some work in the kitchen and called him out.

Chandu - Ji sir ?

Anurag - Prerna aur Mr. Bajaj dikhai nhi de rahe.

Chandu - Vo... sir ma'am aur Kukki baby teeno bahar gye hain.

Anurag - Bahar ? Kahan ?

Chandu - Pata nahi sir. Ma'am ne bas itna bataya tha ki vo log kahin bahar jaa rhe hain aur dinner bhi bahar hi karenge.

As Chandu finished... Anurag saw Prerna and Rishabh entering the house. Rishabh was holding a sleeping Kukki in his left arm while his right hand was clasped with Prerna's left hand. They were having a conversation and we're speaking softly so as to not wake up Kukki.

Prerna - Mr. Bajaj... mujhe kal ka arrangement ek dum perfect chahiye.

Rishabh - Don't worry Mrs. Bajaj. Aapko lagta hai kal ke din me mai koi kami rehne dunga. Sab kuch perfect hoga bilkul vaisa jaise aap aur Kukki chahte hain.

Prerna - Kal Kukki ka first birthday hai jo vo apni maa ke sath celebrate karegi. Mai first time apni beti ka birthday celebrate karungi. Mera excitement badhta hi jaa rha h aur...

An angered Anurag interrupted in between.

Anurag - Kahan thi tum ?

Prerna - Aap kaun hote hain puchne wale ?

Anurag - Don't annoy me Prerna. Chup chap batao mujhe kahan gai thi tum ?

Rishabh - Watch yourself Anurag Basu. Aapko Prerna se baat karni hai kijiye lekin respect aur politeness se.

Anurag (a lil louder)- To hell with respect and politeness. You....

Prerna - Tone down your volume Anurag Basu my daughter is sleeping and I won't let her precious sleep get disturbed by your senseless talks.

Rishabh - Aap baat kijiye. Mai Kukki ko room me lekar jaa raha hu.

Rishabh left and Prerna looked at Anurag crossing her arms infront of her chest. Hearing the commotion the other Basus too came there.

Prerna - Kya hai ?

Anurag - Boht ho gya Prerna. Aaj mujhe sach janna hai. Bolo kyu kari tumne Bajaj se shadi. I know ye shadi zabardasti ki hai. Batao mujhe aisi kon si majburi thi tumhari jo tumhe iss bina pyar ki shadi ka hissa banna pada.

Prerna - Apni personal life ke bare me mai baharwalo ko batana zaruri nahi samajhti. Mujhe na tumse koi baat hi nhi karni hai. Mai jaa rhi hu. Kal meri beti ka birthday aur mujhe boht kaam hain.

She turned to leave but Anurag held her by her shoulders.

Prerna (jerking him away) - Don't touch me Anurag Basu. I'm someone else's wife and only he has the right to touch me. And one more thing.... Kal meri beti ka birthday hai. Agar kal tumne ya tumhari family ne itni si bhi problem khadi kari ya koi tamasha kiya to mujhse bura koi nhi hoga and it's Mrs. Prerna Rishabh Bajaj warning you. Don't take it lightly.

Mohini - How dare you talk to my son like that !

Prerna - Teach your son how to behave with someone else's wife. Aap hi thi na jo humesha kehti rehti thi ki maine aapke ameer bete ko paiso ke liye fasaya. See, I've left him. Balki aapka beta hi hai jo mere aage peeche ghum raha hai.

Mohini - You....

She was cut off by Prerna's death glares.

Prerna - Meri warning yaad rkhiyega aap sab.

Saying this she left them and went to her room. Upon opening the door she found Rishabh coming out of the bathroom in his night clothes.

Rishabh - All well ?

Prerna - Abhi tak to hai. I just hope ye log kal koi tamasha na kare.

Rishabh - Don't worry. You trust me right ? I won't let anything bad happen tomorrow.

Prerna - Bharosa to aap par khud se bhi jyada hone laga hai.

Rishabh smiled at her words - Aap change kar lijiye. Mujhe office ka zara kaam hai to mai study me jaa raha hu.

Prerna - Yeah.

Rishabh left the room while Prerna went into the bathroom to change. Rishabh finished his work and then went to the terrace. He stood there staring at the night sky for a few minutes. It was the voice of approaching footsteps that broke his chain of thoughts. He turned to see the Basu Boy standing behind him.

Anurag - Kya kaha aapne Prerna se jo vo mere sath aisa behave kar rhi hai ? Kis tarah majboor kiya aapne usse aapse shadi karne ke liye.

Rishabh - Oh come on Basu ! Prerna is not a child jo mai usse kuch bi kahunga aur vo kar degi. She is a sane and mature individual. Unhone jo kuch bhi kiya boht soch samajhkar apni marzi se kiya. I didn't force her into anything.

Anurag - Don't lie ! (His face red with anger)

Rishabh - Oh my my ! Itna gussa. Control Basu. I know aapko bura lagta hoga... boht bura lagta hoga. Afterall, aap jisse pyaar karte hain usne aapko chhod kar mujhse shadi kar li. Uski mang me sindoor hai but aapka nahi mere naam ka. Vo mangalsutra pehnti hai mere naam ka. Vo meri beti ki maa hain. Jis ghar ki bahu aap usse banana chahte the vo usi ghar me rehti hai but Bajajs ki bahu bankar. Jis kamre me uske sath rehne ke sapne aapne dekhe the vo usi kamre me rehti hai but mere sath. Jis bed par aap sote the vo usi bed par mere sath.... Oops ! Sorry, I can't reveal my bedroom secrets. It's too personal you know. (Anurag closed his eyes in disgust and clenched his fists while a smirk appeared on Rishabh's face) Aap usse Mrs. Anurag Basu banana chahte the but vo Mrs. Rishabh Bajaj bankar ji rahi hai. Tch tch tch.... I feel so bad for you.

Anurag - I know aap mujhe darane ki koshish kar rahe hain. But aapka ye tarika kaam nhi ayega kyuki mujhe apni Prerna par pura bharosa hai. Duniya ki nazro me bhale hi aap dono pati patni hain but vo tann aur mann se aapko apna pati kabhi nhi banayegi.

Rishabh (smirked) - Dil ko dilasa dene ke liye ye khayal accha hai. Koi baat nhi carry on. Mai chalta hu. Vo kya hai na my wife must be waiting. She can't sleep without me. And... stop calling her as your Prerna because she is mine now and for the next seven lives. Hmm ?

At the same time Rishabh's phone rang revealing the caller ID as PRERNA.

Rishabh (showing it to Anurag) - See I told you. (He picked up the call and put it on speaker)

Prerna (on phone) - Kaha hai aap ? I came to the study looking for you. You are not here. I just checked on Kukki you were not there too.

Rishabh - Relax darling ! I came to the terrace for some fresh air.

Prerna - Itni raat ko aap terrace par kya kar rhe hain. Come to the room fast.

Rishabh - I'll be there in just a minute. Don't worry sweetheart.

Saying this he cut the call.

Rishabh - So ? Abhi bhi aapko lagta hai ki Prerna jabardasti iss shadi me hai. I would suggest you to move on Basu. Live peacefully and let us live peacefully too. Hmm ? Good night. (No reply came) Won't wish me a good night ? No problem, because I am certainly gonna have a good night with my wife. Bye !

He left smirking knowing that he had caused enough mental stress to that poor soul.
