After a good lunch at Sharma Niwas, Rishabh, Kukki and Prerna returned to Basu Bari. They had changed their clothes and currently Prerna was working in the kitchen looking over the dinner preparations when Anurag came there.
Anurag - Prerna mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai.
Prerna - Kya ?
Anurag - Ye kya hai ? (Said showing her his phone)

Anurag - Kyu kar rahi ho tum ye sab Prerna ? Tum uss insan ke sath khush hone ka natak kyu kar rahi ho ?
Prerna - Mai koi natak nhi kar rahi hu. Mai genuinely khush hu.
Anurag - Jhoot bol rahi ho tum. Jab tum mujhse pyar karti ho to Bajaj ke sath khush kaise reh sakti ho.
Prerna - Mai koi jhoot nahi bol rahi Anurag. Aur ek baat kaan khol kar sun lo mai tumse pyar karti thi par ab mai tumse pyar nhi karti. Maine iss baar saaf saaf bata diya hai aur ye baat dobara repeat karne ki naubat na aye.
Anurag - Nhi Prerna. Tum meri ho aur sirf meri hi rahogi phir chahe tumhe pane ke liye mujhe kuch bhi karna pade.
Prerna- Not possible. Jo kuch bhi karna hai karke dekh lo Anurag but successful nhi hoge tum kyuki chahe kuch bhi ho jaye mai Rishabh ko chhodkar tumhare pass nhi aane wali. And you know what tum kuch kar hi nhi paoge Anurag kyuki jisse tum lad rahe ho na vo Rishabh Bajaj hai THE RISHABH BAJAJ aur Rishabh kabhi nhi harte so obviously haroge tumhi.
Anurag - Prerna tum samajh kyu nhi rahi ho. Mr Bajaj tumhara use kar rahe hain mujhse badla lene ke liye. Vo apni cheap tricks se tumhe apna banane ki koshish kar rahe hain taki mujhe hara sake.
Before Prerna could reply, Rishabh came there.
Rishabh - Prerna aap...
He stopped in his tracks seeing Anurag there.
Prerna - Hn. Kuch chahiye aapko ?
Rishabh - Hn wo Kukki aapko bula rahi thi.
Prerna - Thik hai mai uske pass jati hu. Aap...

Rishabh (pulling her and Kukki in a hug) - Ab jab itni pyari biwi aur itni pyari beti ho to aise hi hasunga na.
And both Prerna and Kukki wrapped their arms around him from each side. Outside the room, Anurag witnessed their family moment. He had come there listening to the echoes of their laughter. He couldn't help but think about the conversation he had with Prerna a while ago. Is she pretending to be happy ? Or is she really happy ?
