Make or break, Somi repeated to herself.

Touch him or not, although she would've gladly chosen the second, she knew it wasn't the right moment to be squeamish.

Save Jongho or leave him to his fate, Somi preferred to put it like that.

Doctor Lee's lips were slightly gaped and his head tilted to the left as if that could examine her features better. The man had noticed how Somi had started spacing out all of a sudden and he bet she hadn't heard a single word that exited his mouth until that moment. He couldn't deny that her complete absence of attention towards him was bothering him to the point where his blood began boiling in his veins and his pride being torn apart.

Though, he chose to say nothing and, instead, waited for any reaction from the young girl.

However, he indeed wouldn't have never expected what kind of gesture she was planning on making. When she abruptly stretched her arm towards his face to aim at his shoulder, he was flabbergasted, to say the least: his brain couldn't process in time what was occurring and, for that, his reaction deferred.

Her tapered fingers managed to lightly brush the collar of his white coat, but that was enough to cause the girl to have a quick flash of an image in her brain, though, what she glimpsed didn't reveal as many details as she hoped. She spotted the same concrete and cold walls, the humidity seeped into her bones just at the sight of them.

After restoring her balance on both her feet, she raised her stare to see where the man had jumped. For the first time since they met, his hair wasn't perfectly gelled back, but a few locks of burgundy hair had fallen on his high cheekbones and in front of his eyes that held pure shock. Somi started gasping for more air, sensing her body becoming weaker already.

Though she had no time to waste. Jongho had no time anymore.

She charged the man like an incensed bull against a red flag and extended her arms in front of her. If seen from the outside, she would've appeared as that mentally crazy patient attempting to hurt a doctor, though, the reality was very different. The medic dodged the second attack and placed himself in the same spot where Somi had started her run.

"Somi, don't get yourself into trouble for something so irrelevant." He suggested, but the girl's brain had focused its attention on the next move, desperately looking for the one that could actually help her in her goal. Fighting, and getting involved in an argument with him was only a loss of precious time since, apparently, the man was so self-centred to not consider anyone else, or better, to evaluate the others as useless and Somi couldn't be more disgusted.

For that motive, she decided to ignore his provocation and proceed with her aim. However, before she could attack a second time, her sight became blurry, Doctor Lee was only a shadow with no defined outlines and, as if that wasn't enough disheartening, her knees trembled under her weight and soon she found herself on the floor, powerless and desperate.

Doctor Lee was dumbfounded and confused. The way she had passed out, turning off on the floor like an out-of-power device would've been enough to make him erupt into a booming laugh, in careless moments. At that moment, he knew he couldn't let that side of him escape.

The man didn't know how much time he had left before the next person would have entered the restrooms, for that, he needed to be quick and act immediately.

Somi gasped for air as her eyes thrust open. As if she had been under the water for an undefined amount of time, but certainly too much for a human, she initially struggled to fill her lungs with oxygen, she couldn't even gulp properly without sensing her throat clench and briefly cutting the flow of air running down in it. She brought one of her hands to her neck, though immediately regretted it as the simple pressure of her fingerpads weighted like a tight grip like the one of an arm bent around her head to choke her. Her other hand, her nails, dug into something that brushed her skin and felt like a soft and thin fabric, cotton probably.
