I turn to the other side of my bed slowly opening my eyes.

??: Good morning love.

I look at my fiancé with a smile.

When I moved back to la I was in pieces not just because of Tom but all the trama that happened.

I used to have bad nightmares thinking Oni would find and kidnap me again.

Then I met Xavier at my job. Shortly after I found out he was my boss.

We started off slow but I was falling for him and so was he.

So we made it official 8 months after I left Tokyo.

We both worked at a rather popular bar near where we live.

Xavier knew all about my past.

Xavier: you ok Madeline?

I snapped out of it and looked at him.

Mia: Yes, I'm just happy.

He smiled and pulled me in for a kiss.

I peacefully sat at the table eating breakfast with my fiancé watching tv when he speaks.

Xavier: So your not gonna say or do anything about it?

I looked at him knowing what he was trying to get me to do.

Mia: About what?

I said "cluelessly" taking another sip out of my coffee.

Xavier: Madeline.

He gave me that look.

Mia: I'm probably the last person she wants to see, especially today.

Xavier: She is your best friend Madeline. And it's her 21st birthday today.

Xavier: Don't you at least want to see if she's ok.

Mia: I left for a reason Xavier.

I gave him a warning glare which he stubbornly ignored.

Xavier: If I were ellie I would desperately want my best friend who I haven't seen in two years by my side right now.

Mia: Im not trying to fight with you right now.

Xavier: Im just trying to give you a different point of view.

He got up and went into the shower.

I plopped on the couch with a big sigh.

I started overthinking.

What if one of them are hurt right now?

What if one of them are dead?

What if they are all dead?...

I opened my phone and booked two flights to Tokyo.

(She's rich like that guys)

I got up and packed all me and Xavier's stuff.

I knew he didn't want to go but I need him.

The ticket I bought was in a couple of hours so we had to prepare.

Xavier didn't want to go at first but I convinced him well and he helped.

Time skip a hour later

It was time for us to start heading out.

The airport was 30 minutes away from us so we didn't have to stress on being late.

We put our shoes on and left to the airport with our suitcases.
