Sophia's pov:

I looked at the door frame and saw Miguel standing there.

Fucking hell.

I sighed.

I turned around. "Why him?"

"Because your rivalry is annoying and distracting to the teachers and students, get along. If you don't there will be consequences." The principal said.

Miguel raised his eyebrows and nodded.

"And don't even think about pretending to be tutored. Miguel, im making you run a log in which you'll tell me what topics you discussed in the tutor sessions. Sophia, i demand your grades be raised by the end of the year. If you don't do these things, you'll both be held back a year." He added.

I looked at Miguel, shocked.

"Held back?" I asked.

The principal nodded.

"That was all. You may go back to class." He said.

I nodded nervously and stood up.

Miguel followed after me and closed the door behind him.

"I can't believe this." I muttered.

"Me too." He said.

I turned around and started walking back to class.

"Where you going?" He asked.

"Class." I replied.

"Your actually going back to class?" He asked.

I turned around.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Nerd." He said.

"Shitty student." I replied.

He raised his eyebrows as if saying 'seriously'.

I nodded sarcastically.

"Just skip with me." He said.

"I am not skipping and especially not with you." I said.

"Is this your last class?" He asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Then skip with me, I'll drive us to McDonald's and then home after. Still 7th street?" He said.

I nodded.

"Jeez i hated it there, but it was a good place to grow up." He added.

"Yeah, but when your a teenager its just kinda.." I started.

"Bad?" He asked.

"Yes." I replied.

He took his keys out of his pocket and swung them in his hand. He raised his eyebrows.
