Whisper and Death appeared before the Charred Council.
"Whisper has completed the task you assigned her." Death informed the Council.
"Good, We have watched her from beyond as her training excelled. We believe that it is time for her to go on her own. The Charred Council has decided to test her ability by sending Whisper out on her own for a years time."
The head in the middle announced in its low, rough voice. Death stood straight up and stared hard at the Council.
"She is not yet ready for that! Whisper has only begun her training at the beginning of last year! She is not ready fo-"
"Silence!" A head interrupted.
"She shall go on her own for a year, Whisper shall leave by a months time. We hope you will have prepared her by then... now be gone!" Commanded a head.
Death reluctantly bowed to the Council and walked to Whisper. She looked worried but stood bravely. Death and Whisper entered a portal to the horsemen's realm.
