this was when jia gained a larger solo fanbase thanks to her main role in "the witch part one: the subversion".

she was surprised by a purple ps4 console. she was shocked by this, as were the other members, and asked the staff if she could hug the fan.

the fan was grateful for the hug and shrugged, stating, "it didn't cost me anything. don't worry about it."

the boys and jia often use it in her gaming room.

it was shown in the "life goes on" mv.

for jia, france had always been a place she dreamed to go one day. she often dreamed of retiring to paris and living there, going to cafes and eating delicious food.

she had loved going to the city during tours, often speaking about how beautiful the castles she visited were, during lives.

to celebrate her 22nd birthday in 2019 after her successful american movie debut, jia was gifted a castle in the south of france; complete with an elegant "han jihyun" decorated on the gates as the castle was renamed.

it was a newer castle, freshly refurbished by the fan after being almost demolished, with a beautiful garden and stables.

jia was shocked when she was gifted the legal document with ownership of the castle.

the fan, herself korean-french, was fine with it and simply said, "it's just congrats on your solo debut. maybe for your first full album, you could pop over to france. you have a lot of french fans."

jia did eventually visit HER castle during bts's first break in forever and gave a special concert for her french armies.

while jia has no preparations for retiring yet, she does plan on spending a nice, long break there.

thanks to suga, jia became known globally as the "princess maknae."

to the world, and for her solo debut, she was called "princess maknae" or "princess of big hit."

after her first big endorsement, her ads and pop-up store in seoul had the words "chanel princess."

to celebrate jia becoming 21 (aka being allowed to drink globally), she was given a box full of princess tiaras. the costs ranged from $100,000 to almost $1mil.

jia was extremely grateful for the gifts and wore them in her solo mvs as well as some v-lives.

in 2020, jia was on her way to brazil to visit her moms and step mom's family when she was attacked by two male saesangs in a public-use airplane.

she had her bodyguards with her, thankfully, but she was shaken up and had a couple of bruises on her arms and legs from them grabbing her.

when the news came out about this, as well as big hit's reveal of jia being hospitalized as well as a small break for her mental health, fans were outraged.

one of her richest fans, an older male chaebol (among other chaebols who were fans of her), was especially outraged and bought a top-of-the-age private jet for jia/bts's use.

the jet was painted purple with her favorite foods in the fridge as well as posters of jia on the wall.

jia was thankful and uses it, to the fan's happiness, as well as the boys and other hybe ent. employees if they need it.

while there is some teasing about the posters on the wall of jia, as well as chae-themed cups and plates for food & bevs, everyone's grateful jia feels safe going on a plane again.
