I huffed sighing tiredly wearing my seat belt.
It's been a long day or probably night.
The number of patients I had to attend to today was excruciatingly numerous.

"Madam Za madam.
The pinest dactor wey sabi." Aliyu hailed with his thick Hausa accent.

"Aliyu..
How you dey nau?
Na you dey night duty today?" I asked.

"Na me oo
I dey fine..
Anything por boys?" He smiled showcasing his cola stained teeth.

"Oya take.." I smiled squeezing a thousand naira note into his palms..

"Madam Za Madam!!
Walahi,na why I like you be zat.
You be better feson.
Allah ya yi màki albarka.." He praised opening the hospital gate.

I drove through the bustling streets of Awka.
Although,it was almost midnight.
Thank God I Will be having three days off this weekend.

Work is seriously wearing me out.

It's been three days since I found Teeboy
Only my best friend Fumnanya and my gateman knows about him.

He actually looks and dressed better now.
He now speaks freely with me without being afraid that I may give him out to those he referred to as *Bad people.

I will probably take him out tomorrow for a hair and beard cut tomorrow.
And then pass through the supermarket to get him new clothes and some toiletries.

But I think he has a mental problem, Peter Pan syndrome.

He speaks,act and thinks like a child.
I also noticed he could be aggressive and violent some times when triggered.

I sighed tiredly throwing my self on my sofa looking at my wall clock..
Damn..
12:23am.

I groaned pulling out my shoes and flinging them to the corner

Being a doctor was not all about its title,it requires hardwork and resilience.
Not having a particular or scheduled time for work.
We already swore to save lives no matter the time or condition.

I guess it costed me my social life.

No man would want a workaholic like me.
My last relationship was the worst,I was already engaged with my ex fiance Emeka.

But he clearly told me that once we got married I'll just be a full-time housewife.

I loved Emeka so much but I could never see myself ending my career because of marriage.
Of course,I will try to create out time for my children and family but I'll have to live my own life too...

Just that argument was enough for Emeka to cheat on me..

I found him in the arms of another woman when I decided to pay him a surprise visit...
