destiny has talked to jadon for 4 months since the party, jadon would try to interact with her but it wouldnt work. she hated that he was gang affiliated because she knew what it would eventually lead to, she already had to deal with her brother being in a gang and now currently in jail, god knows when hes coming out.

"school finally done" stephanie said,

"yupp, we outside this summerr" i say

'yeah, i hope" she says

"wym?" i ask her, raising my eyebrow

"i might get sent to ghana for the summer"

"shit, well atleast your somewhere else but london"

"i guess"

we both laughed, but as i looked up walking out the school gates i see jadon go in a all black car with the same guy that gave me the bookbag, but this time all windows where down.

me and stephanie walked pass the car, and heard somebody from behind calling us,

"yo" he calls to us

"im talking to you des" he says

i look at stephanie,

"dont look back" i tell stephanie,

"how does he know your name" she ask

i shrugs my shoulders,

"alright, sn" he says and drives off,

me and des walk faster to the bus stop n go home, we reach to the estate and i go to her yard.

"you still want me to do your nails?" i ask her,

"yeah" she says as her turns on the tv,

"what song u want to play" she askes me,

"uhhh, bouff daddy by j hus" i say

"sn" she says,

she sits down and i start prepping her nails, it was quiet until she started going on abt her man,

"you n reiss broke up?" i ask

"well, no but i havent heard from him in a while, i text him but he leaves me on seen"

"like then at school he trys to hugs me and kiss me?, are you mad?" she adds on,

i just nod my head and continue doing her nails

"but anyways what abt u and jadon?" she asks

"no comment" i say

"why what happened" she ask

i bite my lip debating if i should tell her,

"idk if i can tell u or not"

"wym" she looks up at me

i scratch my head,

"yk how the guy gave me the bag right?"

"mhm"

"soo, when the guy gave me the bag for jadon  yeah, i confronted jadon abt it and he apparently didnt know about it. he ask me to open the bag and i said no and gave the bag to him, he opened it and it was a knife for him"

"what the fuck" stephanie says,

"hes gang affiliated des?"

i nod my head,

"like i cant go through them staged again like i had with my brother with jadon"

"thats my best friend, and my brother was too yk, so i dont wanna lose him" i add on

" i understand, but why u didnt vent to me abt it tho"

i shrug my shoulders,

"i didnt want u to worry abt it"

before she finishes her sentence, the front door opens. it was stephanies sister, as she walked in she came and sat down on the couch and opens a bag of chips.

"well hello to you too" stephanie says,

her sister looks her up and down and continues to eat her chips,

"im talking to you" she adds on,

"fuck off" she says,

stephanie kisses her teeth and faces back to me

"anyways, moving on you know what you have been single for tooo long. imma give you relationship advise" stephanie tells me,

"relationship advise? what do you know about relationships" her sister says and jumps up

"shut up man, nb cares stop putting your 2 cents in" stephanie says,

"listen yeah des the only relationship advise u need is to fuck these niggas and get money" she says,

"do you even hear yourself? your telling 16 year-olds to fuck niggas and get money?" stephanie adds on

i laugh

"listen yeah, if you lot are dating and cussing yeah you can go and do ykw" her sister says

"thank you auntie" stephanie replies

"shut up" her sister, kisses her teeth

"do you have a man?" i ask her

-she doesn't reply-

"hello, shes asking you a question" stephanie says

"wasteman"

"imma lesbian des, and yes i do have a girlfriend" she says looking at step

"who?" i ask

she sighs,

"ruth" she responds

"ruth?" stephanie says out loud and jumps out her chair,

"RUTH?"

stephanie starts laughing out loud while her sister has a smirk on her face,

"nah blud im telling mom" step says

"wait wait no your not" her sister says and jumps out the couch

"nah man her name is ruth" step says out loud

"stop stephanie" her sister says while trying to get the phone out of her hand,

"nah go link ruth" stephanie says

"man like ruth" step continues,
