Ch. 17 - Change of Plans

Mal's POV

I knew she had powers. My throat still hurts from last night. I get out bed, and go look in the mirror, and my throat is bruised.

Evie gets out of bed, and her throat looks as bad as mine.

"I would ask if last night was a dream, if our throats were not bruised," says Evie.

"We should kill her while she is asleep." We look over at Demi, in her bed.

"Try and it and die." We both jump up in fright. We look behind us and see Demi. Then back at her bed.

"How are you here and there?"

Demi says, "Magic."

"How did you do it without any spells?"

"None of your business, and if you want a repeat of last night, keep on doing what you have been doing."

She leaves the room, and go showers.

We have to spend the whole day with her, when we go on our full tour.

Demi's POV

I finish my shower, and do a spell to do my hair, makeup, and clothes.

There is a knock on the door, and when Evie opens it is Doug, and Tiger Peony.

"Hey guys, we are here to collect you for your tours. This is Tiger Peony, she will be giving asked to give you a tour Demi. She said you met the other day and hit it off."

"Yes we had a long interesting conversation." I say sarcastically. I wonder why this girl wants to give me a tour.

Mal says "why does she get to go on a solo tour?" I give her a look telling her to shut up.

"I am ready. Let's go." I push through doug and Tiger to get in the hallway. Tiger and I walk outside the school.

"What are you up too? You and I barely had a conversation, the other day."

"The fairies sensed something in you the other day. A power they do not know, but is related to them somehow."

"It is none of your business." I go to leave.

"Wait. I need you to come with me. I swear this is not some trap/."

"Why should I come with you?"

"Because the fairies need help. And Prince Ben does not have the power to help them. If you have the fairies on your side, you will have a powerful ally. If they ever try to send you back to the Isle, the fairies will intervene."

With those idiots doing whatever they can to get send back, I will need a backup plan to stay.

"I will help, but first I need something from you."

"Whatever you need"

"Your firstborn child of course." Her eyes burst open, and she sucks in a breath.
