Warnings: cussing

It was finally time for Y/N's friends to decide whether or not Michael and Jeremy would be able to stay at the table. Over the two weeks, Lily and Amy had warmed up to the two, only a tiny bit.
"So has the council decided?" Michael asked in a joking tone, glancing between the two parties. Both of them looked at each other with hesitant gazes. Jeremy shrugged in response.
Amy sighed in annoyance, hating to admit defeat. Lily interfered, knowing Amy wasn't going to say it. "You can stay at the table."
Before Michael could rejoice, Amy quickly said her piece with a raise of a finger. "But one wrong move and we're kicking you out." Amy glared at the two, Michael grinned in response at this.
"I'll watch my steps." Michael declared before turning over and kissing Y/N on the cheek.
This time, she didn't have the fear of Michael's father looming over. She put a hand over where he kissed. "Hey don't do that in front of everyone!" She exclaimed, flustered as she glared back at him.
Holly giggled at the interaction, finding their relationship cute. Amy was too caught up with arguing with Jeremy about the way he chewed his food too loudly to notice, and Lily put her head back into her book the second after she told them that they could stay.
"What?" Michael taunted innocently, leaning closer to her face cheekily. His voice went quiet, so only she could hear him. His breath fanned her face, causing her face to heat up further. "Would you rather I kiss you somewhere else? I can think of a few." He smirked while his eyes trailed down. His eyes shot back up when she hit him in the arm.
"Michael!" She whined in embarrassment, glaring at him now. She had hoped none of the table heard his last comment.
"So cheeks it is!" He declared happily, wrapping his arm around her shoulder to pull her closer to her. "Are you free this weekend? To go on a second date."
She thought for a moment, trying to remember what was on her schedule. "I should be free tonight, if you are." She responded hesitantly, wondering if her parents were home and if it was possible to slip by them tonight without hearing any of their teasing.
"For you? I am free any time." He flirted, his gaze turned slightly serious though as he was excited for the date. "What would you want to do?"
"You are the one who asked me." She jokingly argued, making the emphasis clear as she crossed her arms now. "You really asked me without a plan? How lame." She forced a disappointed look, biting the inside of her cheek as she tried to appear dissatisfied to him. It seemed to work as he seemed dejected for a second before he quickly shot up again.
Michael scoffed, crossing his arms in response similar to her. "Me? Lame? Please- I will make this the best date you've ever been on." He challenged, a winning smirk on his face.
"That really won't be hard. All you would have to do is beat the last date." She scanned the room for Darin and Trevor weren't near before talking badly about them. "Which was not the best for very well known reasons."
"Well, the bar is very low then." He commented, noticing her scan the room for the two. He felt a slight stab at his heart, that same guilt from that night hitting him. "I promise to you to make every date better than the last!" He declared, grinning ear-to-ear.
"You say that like I said yes to a third date already." She teased him, eyebrows furrowed.
He didn't catch the joking tone and his face was filled with worry. "Well we don't have to go out tonight if you don't want to.." He trailed off, feeling slight disappointment from her 'rejection'.
