WHAT'S THE STORY?
Every time our beloved character, Lara Jean Covey has a crush on a boy, she likes to comprehend her feelings by writing letters to all the boys she has loved. However, instead of sending the letters to the ones they're addressed to, she stores them in her mother's hat box.
But what happens when her little sister decides to spice up her elder sister's love life and sends the letters out, on Halloween?
Well, nobody thought it would turn into a killing spree.
One by one, all the recipients of Lara Jean's letters start to die under mysterious circumstances and the only thing common between them is the blood-stained envelopes found on the crime scene.
What will Lara Jean Covey do when the police start to suspect her of the murders of the four boys and Peter Kavinsky is the only one who remains and fears for his life?
Only one person knows the real identity of the murderer but who would believe her anyways?
All your questions will be answered on October 31st.

WHAT'S THE SCOOP?
✦ To be honest, this design was made in 3 hours and I didn't have much time to research and look up for inspirations as I had to post the prompt for Contest 03 to stay on track with my schedule.
✦ Contest 02's deadline had to be extended a few times due to the lack of entries (there were only 2 or 3 lol) but in the end, we had a total of 7 amazing entries so it's all good. However, I realised that there was no time left for my next prompt idea due to the delay, plus my Halloween prompt would hold no relevance if it was held in November instead of October. So, I scrapped the original idea for C03 and went ahead with the Horror Prompt- hence the rush.
✦ I decided to keep the notebook paper effect from the original poster and added some lighting effects to give it some depth. As the original poster had doodles and names of the boys in the shape of the heart, I tried to add some doodles & the names with strings linking them to give some murder mystery board vibes.
✦ Lara Jean's outfit style is also different as she's definitely not the same sweet romantic character from the original movie/book- we all know she wouldn't hurt a fly 😂😭

it was definitely a fun challenge to make a poster in limited time and hopefully, we'll have a lot more interesting entries for this contest!
