Harry watched as his mother prepared his lunch. It was fairly early in the morning, so neither one of them was thinking very clearly. He proceeded to ask the same question he had asked every day since he was a toddler. "Mom, why don't I look like you?" Temperance Brennan then went into her quick internal debate over whether or not to tell her only child the truth about his birth. She knew that she had to say something soon because a life changing letter would arrive in exactly three days time. She let out a large sigh, resigned to finally tell Harry the truth. "Harry, we need to talk," she said, knowing it was the right thing to do.
