Harry Potter was born to Lily and James Potter, a loving family who died trying to protect him. Everyone knows this, that is except the boy himself. When Lord Voldemort murdered Lily and James, Harry went to go live with his extranged aunt Temperance Brennan. Albus Dumbledore knew that Harry's closest relatives were the Dursleys, but he also knew that if he left Harry with them Lily would never rest in peace. He ordered Hagrid and Minerva to safely transport Harry to the United States.
Temperance had no clue what she was in for when Minerva showed up carrying a small bundle of blankets. She knew it would be difficult for her to raise a baby on her own, but a wizard baby was a different story. She knew that Harry was her burden to carry.
