C A S S A N D R A

I was greeted by the warm light of early dawn just as the moon tucked itself to bed beyond the horizon.

I pulled the sheets away from my body welcoming the chilling gust of cold air blowing against it.

Walking quietly through my chambers finally reaching the balcony.

Oh the pleasantness of this silence. The time when our little land would brace itself for the busy day, little lullabies hummed by the little song birds as milkmen would go from door to door.

From the distance I spotted a white horse making its way for the city gate. Behind it were two other black horses along with its riders. The majestic white horse trampled the ground beneath him as it surged forward through the way ward land. It almost looked like a hot white flame flirting with the wind.

The horse was slowly slowed by its illicit owner as it approached the gate.

As it neared I could clearly see it, the horse was covered in armor, not just any armor, but royal armor. This day should be rather interesting.
