my phone starts ringing and i grab it quickly answering. "hello?" i answer

"mrs.o'connell,we did not find the body of your wife. we searched the building throughly and no sight of her. there is evidence of her death though. we won't rule it until we find her body" the detective says

"what do you mean by evidence of her death?" i ask

"there was a large pool of blood found at the scene that matched to her dna and there were signs of struggle. there was a pair of scissors with the shooter's blood on it and her fingerprints. her desk was out of order and we found a bullet. we haven't looked at the bullet yet but i do believe that was the bullet that took her life. it's strange considering the shooter stayed in the building the entire time,where did her body go?" she explains

"this is a strange case but please find her body so i can have peace. i don't care what you have to do to find it just please" i say

"of course. i'll be calling with updates" she say before hanging up

"mom" i hear kourtney's voice

i turn my head towards her. "yes?"

"amari's crying" she say

i head upstairs and head into amari's room. he's laying in his crib crying up a storm. i feel his diaper and it doesn't feel like he did anything.

i pick him up and carry him downstairs. i sit him in the high chair before making his milk with the formula.

my phone starts ringing and i answer putting it on speaker. "what are you doing right now?" aria asks

"giving amari food,why?"

"i'm here" she say

"okay" i say before hanging up

"KOURTNEY GO OPEN THE DOOR" i yell and she runs downstairs

once the milk is ready i hold it out to him but he just turns his head still crying. "what do you want little guy?" i ask frustrated

he continues to scream cry and that's when i realized he misses his mommy.

"hi" i hear aria announce herself

"hi" i say "can you help me with him? he's crying and i think it's for aaliyah. i don't know what to do"

she walks over to amari and lifts him up. she holds him while walking around and rubbing his back.

slowly his cries get quieter and they stop.

i pull out my key to unlock the door to the store i own when i notice the window is broken.

i open the door and immediately come in contact with a horrible smell. i cover my nose heading inside. the smell gets stronger and stronger as i step inside.

i turn on the lights and i'm met with the sight of a body laying on the ground. dried blood is all over the person and they're starting to visibly decompose.

before i could process i vomit onto the floor in front of me. i grab my phone quickly calling 911.

"911,what's your emergency?"

"there's a body in my store. i just walked in and it's-" i say shaking

"where are you currently? is it a male or female?"

"i'm at roselands, in nevada" i say

"yes we know nevada. is it a male or female? please tell me"

i look at the body not being able to tell. "i don't know" i say

"alright they're on the way" she say

soon the police officers get here and covers their nose immediately to the smell. they look at the body in horror. "male" one of them say

i watch as another writes it down in his notebook. "sir can you please follow me?" he asks

i nod before walking behind him outside.

"what's your name?" he asks

i tell him my name and he writes it down. "tell me exactly what happened"

"i closed down my store for a few days because i was out of town visiting my family. i come to re open and i smelled a horrible smell. i saw that the window had been broken into so i was suspicious. i entered in and the smell got worse. i turned on the lights and that's when i saw the body" i explain

"found a weapon in victims hand" a officer announces

"thank you for telling me all this." he say finishing writing down what i said "we are going to continue to investigate. you can head home if you would like"

i nod my head before saying "thank you". i walk away heading to my car and i start it up.

i drive away before dialing his number and calling.

"yeah?"

"why the fuck would you put his body there?"

"it's out of state. you made it clear you had nothing to do with it so you'll be fine. they'll just be trying to solve the poor murder of finneas."

"give me billie's phone number right now" i say

"no can do,have a good day" he say before hanging up
