chapter 10

Dr. Yoon entered her office to find Taehyung once again seated in his usual spot, gazing out of the window.

When he saw the doctor without her customary greeting, his curiosity piqued. Dr. Yoon was clutching a diary, and her hands trembled as she handed it to Taehyung before leaving the room.

Taehyung opened the diary to find the first page adorned with a photo of his beloved Jungkookie, his radiant smile, and those eyes he had named "endering." A bittersweet smile graced Taehyung's face as tears welled up in his eyes. He gently traced the picture and stared at it for a while.

As he turned the page, he found his  Jungkook's handwritten entries:

*15th January*:

Dear diary,

Mom and Dad are leaving for Switzerland again... I am sad.

*18th February*:

Dear diary,

College is taking a toll on my mental health. I fainted again. I need to see a doctor today. Okay, bye-bye.

*19th February*:

Dear diary,

I am sick, very sick. They say it's stage 2 of leukemia, some kind of blood cancer. I don't think I will live long, but they said it can be cured unless it reaches stage 3. I can't tell Mom and Dad. They'll feel sad. I don't want to be a bother. Well, I don't know how to feel.

*February 21*:

Dear diary,

I am sad...

*4th March*:

Dear diary,

Oh my God, diary, I can't tell you what happened today. I saw a handsome man. I mean, a really, really handsome man. He was so handsome; he lives on the same floor as me, next door to me. First, I thought he was a stalker, but I guess he's not.

*10th March*:

Dear diary,

I like Taehyungie Hyung quite a lot, I guess. I love it when he laughs, and his lips form a square. He is so cute, handsome, and nice. He is everything a person dreams of, and he also has Tannie. He feels out of my league.

*15th March*:

Dear diary,

I am happy. Taehyungie Hyung makes me happy.

*17th April*:

Dear diary,

Can this happen in the wildest dreams that Taehyungie Hyung, Tannie, and I make a family? Oh my God, I am blushing. It feels so wrong. Hyungie must be disappointed if he came to know I like him.

*20th May*:

Dear diary,

I think I am in love with Taehyungie. I can't wait to be healthy again and asks  Hyungie out to date me . I really want to manifest Hyungie and Tannie as a family. We can adopt a baby too. My thoughts are running wild.

*8th June*:

Diary,

I am dying. It feels like God doesn't want to see me happy. When I finally found happiness in 22 years of my life, God wants me back. For the very first time, I don't want to die. I want to live, to live with my Hyungie and Tannie.

*11th June*:

I went to the amusement park with Hyungie. We had fun. I drank. When I think I can't fall in love more deeply, he proves me wrong. I love him so much. I want to live with Hyungie.

*23rd July*:

Diary,

I think I am going sooner than later. Doctor said it has reached stage 3
I am not fine. I am sick. Hyungie is the only reason I am hanging in.

*11th August*:

Diary,
I want to live for hyungie .

*1st September .*

Dear diary

I turned 23 now . Hyungie is taking me to meadowns . I love taehyungie . I wish I could say this to him.

I think I will remain 23 forever , I wish oh how much I wish my love for him to grow with me. When I will meet God I will request him to let me love him from heavens .

*2nd September* ,

Dear diary

Hyungie and me , we went to meadows . I am getting weak , very weak . I can feel my body giving up . From now on I want to spend more time with hyungie . I want to take every moment of us with me . I hope god have mercy on me and let me love hyungie for some more years .

*25th October ,*
Dear diary .

I have very less time left . I cannot survive more than three months . Doctor said they can’t help . Mom dad are calling me to live with them . I want to live my last days of life with my hyungie. Why didn’t I meet him earlier.
I wish I could live with him .

I am scared diary .
I don’t want to die .

*3rd November .*

Diary ,
I cannot tell you in words how much I love taehyungie. He is the reason I wanted to live .
