Everything about you is perfect
Everything about you makes me smile
It's a wonder you've never realized
Just how much you mean to me
Just how deeply I care about you
Just how terribly I ache
Because you will never love me
In the way that I love you.
I love the way you laugh
I love the way your voice cracks sometimes
I love the way you dance
I love your precious smile
I love the way your eyelashes flutter
I love your hugs
I love the way you appreciate me
I love your stupid, stupid jokes
I love how you are kind and compassionate
I love, I love, I love
But more than anything
I hate
I hate the way you look at her
I hate the way you hug her
I hate the way she makes you smile
I hate the way that I love you.
I will never understand why
Why I can't move on
Why I can't get over myself
Why I can't get over you
Maybe it's because you're just too perfect
And it seems as though no one else could be
As pretty
As funny
As gentle
As warm
As puppy-like
As you are
It isn't fair
My heart has chosen to break me
It has chosen to break itself
