Part 7: Meeting Her Family

A/N: I am aware the Black Widow film comes after Infinity War etc but its supposed to be set before hand so don't worry about it.

It's been a few weeks

The Avengers are still broken up, Nat and Y/n are taking a break together, they've broken the contract with S.H.I.E.L.D

Some S.H.I.E.L.D members think they've found them

Y/n: That's the difference between us and you guys. We actually fight for what's right instead of locking up the people who save lives and actually give a shit.
Nat: * smiles and holds back a laugh*
Y/n: It's taking everything in you not to laugh that.
Nat: * quietly snickers and nods no* Oh everything.

They hang up and toss the phone in the ocean

Y/n: To Russia we go.
Nat: You are so lucky I love you.

It's been a few weeks

They've found Yelena, Y/n is getting on with her very well

It's the day they go to save Alexei

In the Helicopter

Y/n is sat in back listening to White Flag by Bishop Briggs to keep herself in the zone so she doesn't get a panic attack from fighting anyone (She's had visions of the guards again but in fights, whether that was training with Wanda or fighting with her Dad at the Airport)

Nat: We're here. Yelena control the ship. Y/n stay here.
Y/n: Got it babe.

Nat jumps out of the Helicopter and poses

Yelena: Such a poser.
Y/n: * laughs* Welcome to the world of Avengers. You should see my pose. It's worse than hers.
Yelena: * laughs*

Nat gets Alexei and they get on the Helicopter, both Yelena and Nat hate the fact he's even there and try ignoring him

Alexei: My girls. Saving the day.
Nat: Shut it Alexei.
Y/n: Baby that's a bit mean.

Nat gives her a look that says shut up so she takes the hint

Y/n: Sorry I'll butt out princess.

Y/n sits down

Alexei: Why so grumpy girls? Your super soldiers.
Nat: Yeah but it came at a cost. Dreykpv had us trained to kill sure but he sure as hell made sure we were under his spell.
Yelena: And taking any chance of having children away from us.
Nat: Yep. Total hysterectomy. Uterus and ovaries ripped out. We didn't have a choice. And that's all thanks to you.
Alexei: I'm sorry. But that's in the past. I'm just glad your both here.
Yelena: Did you even notice Y/n? She's Nats girlfriend.
Nat and Y/n: Wife.
Nat: Your daughter in law Alexei.

(Y/n and Nat got married after Civil War, they invited all the team)

FLASHBACK

ITS THE WEDDING DAY (Y/n is wearing a black suit with a black shirt and green tie and black vans)

Y/N IS STOOD AT THE ALTER WITH STEVE

Steve: * squeezes her shoulder gently* Congrats kid.
Y/n: * smiles* Thanks Steve. For everything.
Steve: Sorry your Dad couldn't be here.
Y/n: He didn't want to be. To be honest I don't blame him. But I'm glad your next to me instead of him.

Nat and Wanda walk down (Nat is in a green frilly dress with a black veil and white orchids)

Y/n: Wow. She looks amazing.

Nat reaches the alter

They both say I do and get to the vows

Y/n: * grabs both of her hands* Nat.... You are the most amazing person I've met in the world. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. Sure we've had ups and downs but I wouldn't change anything. I love you so much. I will love you forever.
Nat: * smiles* Y/n. Even after everything we've been through, especially you. I want to always be here for you. I hope that I can be the one you can lean on when times get tough. I love more and more each day.

END OF FLASHBACK

Yelena: Seriously?
Nat: Yep.

Y/n isn't paying attention anymore instead again she's listening to music but her leg bounces and she fiddles with her fingers (She's listening to Taylor Swift - The Archer)

Nat notices she's not ok as she was earlier

Nat: Yelena take control for a few minutes.
Yelena: Got it.

Nat leaves her seat and walks over to Y/n

Nat: * kneels down opposite her* Hey. Baby is everything ok?
Y/n: * sighs heavily* Not really.
Nat: * kisses her forehead* Just tell me if anything bothers you ok? Trust me none of your visions are real and I won't let anyone hurt you.
Y/n: Ok. Thank you.
Nat: No problem. I love you.
Y/n: I love you too.
Nat: * kisses her*
Y/n: * kisses back*
Alexei: * wolf whistles*
Nat: * breaks apart from her, stands up and clenches her fist* Alexei shut up right now.
Y/n: Don't poke the bear. She's got claws and is not afraid to use them. Trust me.
Nat: * wacks her gently and smiles*
Y/n: * smiles* Ow.
Nat: Keep trying to annoy me and see where that lands you.
Y/n: Ok sorry.
Yelena: Uh we have a slight problem.
Nat: What is it?
Yelena: We're running out of gas.
Y/n: Great.

Y/n chucks Nat and Yelena a parachute and puts one on herself

Alexei: What about me?
Y/n: Your like a hunkier version of Captain America. You'll be fine.

They jump out of the Helicopter followed by Alexei

The Helicopter crashes

They start walking

Alexei brings Yelena and Nat into a hug which they both hate

Alexei: My girls. Are the toughest girls in the world.

Yelena and Nat push him off them and walk on

Yelena: I swear if I hear one more word from him I will kick him the face.
Nat: Agreed.
Y/n: * smiles*

They reach Melinas

She's training pigs

They reunite and go inside

Alexei: Family. Back together again.
Melina: * gestures to Y/n* And who is this gorgeous girl?
Y/n: I'm Y/n. Nats wife.
Melina: Well I'm suprised anyone was able to reign her in. As a child she always wanted an adventure or was always up and around.
Nat: Melina stop it.
Melina: Let's eat. I want to get to know the woman who married my daughter.
Nat: * clenches her jaw*

Nat, Yelena, Y/n and Melina sit down whilst Alexei tries on his old suit

He walks happy it still fits

Melina: * wolf whistles*
Alexei: Still fits.
Nat: God take it off Alexei.
Alexei: I could have been more famous than Captain America.
Y/n: * smiles* Yeah right.

Melina and Alexei laugh

Y/n: * notices Nats uncomfortable and grabs her hand*
Nat: * squeezes it and looks at her* I'm ok.

Alexei sits down

He starts talking about their time in Ohio calling them all his family

Nat: Except we aren't one! We never were. Because it wasn't real.
Yelena: Hey! Don't say that. Please don't say that? It was real. It was real to me. * looks at Melina* And you. You were my mother. You were a mother to me. * has tears in her eyes and her voice breaks* The best part of my life was fake. And none of you told me.
Melina: Yelena.
Yelena: No. No!

Yelena gets up and leaves the room

There's a silence at the table

Y/n: * sighs* I need a cigarette. * kisses Nats cheek*

Y/n goes outside and smokes

Alexei checks on Yelena

Melina and Nat device a plan
