She gets in the car and leaves
Later that night
Pepper has tucked Morgan into bed earlier at about 8:30pm
It's currently 10:30pm
Tony and Y/n have thought about it and are checking theories of the time travel
They realise there isn't any other way
Tony sits back in his chair
Tony: Shit!
Y/n: * sighs heavily* Holy crap.
Morgan speaks up
Morgan: Shit.
They turn to look at the little girl
Y/n: Language Morgs.
Tony: What are you doing up?
Morgan: Shit.
Tony: No. Don't say that. That's Mommy's word. We can't have her hear you say that. I shouldn't even be saying it.
Morgan: * giggles*
Y/n: * chuckles*
Tony: Come on. Let's get you back in bed.
Morgan: * nods no*
Tony: What do you want?
Y/n: Do you want an ice-pop?
Morgan: * nods yes*
Tony: Ok. Let's get an ice-pop and then get to bed.
Morgan: Ok.
Y/n picks up Morgan and they go to the kitchen and get an ice-pop for Morgan and them go to Morgans room and puts her back in bed
Y/n: * kisses Morgans forehead* Night my little star. I love you.
Morgan: I love you 1000.
Y/n: * ruffles Morgans hair a little* Get to sleep munchkin.
Y/n leaves and Tony stays with Morgan until she's finished her ice-pop
Tony: * kisses Morgans forehead* Night sweetheart. I love you.
Morgan: I love you 3000.
Tony: 3000. Wow. That's crazy.
Morgan: * giggles lightly*
Tony pushes her face gently into the pillow
Tony: That face... goes there.
Tony stands up and starts leaving
Tony: Go to sleep. Or I'll sell all your toys.
Morgan smiles at his joke and Tony shuts the door behind him
Downstairs, Y/n is sat with Pepper by the fire
Tony joins them
Tony: You know that Morgan just said she loves me "3000", I think you were somewhere in the like 500's. Not making it a competition or anything.
Pepper: * smiles* Oh ok.
They talk for a bit and then eventually all go to bed (Tony tells Pepper about the time-travel theory and its the only way, she tells them to do it but to come back home straight after, because they'll be waiting)
Y/n has a nightmare
It's about what happened in Wakanda with Vision and Wanda and how she still couldn't get there quick enough
Y/n wakes up right after Vision gets the Mind Stone snapped out of his head and is discarded aside like trash
Y/n sits up in her bed
Y/n: * pants, has tears in her eyes and runs her hand through her hair*
Morgan comes into her room
Morgan: Y/n?
Y/n: Hey Morgs. What are you still doing up?
Morgan: I heard you scream. Are you ok?
Y/n: Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Sorry I woke you up.
Morgan sits on the side of Y/ns bed next to Y/n
Morgan: What happened?
Y/n: Just a nightmare. I'm ok.
Morgan: Do you get them often?
Y/n: Most nights yeah. That's why I take my pills before or after dinner. Remember?
Morgan: I just thought they were something else. Do they help?
Y/n: Most night yeah. But sometimes they don't have enough effect. Like tonight.
Morgan: What was your nightmare about?
Y/n: Trust me it's not for your ears Morgs.
Morgan: Ok.
There's a silence and Morgan reaches for Y/ns hand
Morgan: * grabs Y/ns hand*
Y/n: * squeezes her hand gently*
Morgan: Do you want me to stay with you?
Y/n: No. Come on. I'll take you back to bed.
Morgan: Ok.
Y/n takes Morgan back to her room and tucks her in
Y/n: * kisses the top of Morgans head* Love you Morgs.
Morgan: Love you Y/n.
Y/n leaves and shuts the door behind her
The next day
Y/n wakes up at 10am and gets ready for the day
(She's wearing a green baggy shirt with black, baggy, cuffed, ripped jeans and black and green Adidas trainers)
Y/n goes downstairs and finds Morgan watching SpongeBob Squarepants and Pepper in the kitchen making breakfast
Y/n goes to the kitchen
Y/n: Morning.
Pepper: Morning sweetheart.
Y/n: Where's Dad?
Pepper: Went to the compound. To drop something off and talk to Steve.
Y/n: Why didn't he tell me?
Pepper: He saw how you were yesterday when you saw Nat sweetie. I think he didn't want you to be like that again. We both know your still beat up about it all.
Y/n: I guess that's fair but I'm gonna have to see her eventually if this time-travel thing is gonna work.
Pepper: When your ready, and when it's time, you can go. But right now we need you here with us. Not in your room having panic attack like when you arrived here the first time, after your fight with her.
Y/n: Yeah I understand that. What's for breakfast?
Pepper: Pancakes, we've got... Chocolate chip, blueberry and normal.
Y/n: I'll have blueberry please.
Pepper: Ok.
Pepper puts the pancakes on the plates and puts them on the table
Pepper: Morgan breakfast!
Morgan comes running in not a second later and sits down
They eat
Morgan: Y/n can we play outside in a minute?
Y/n: Yeah in a minute munchkin. I'm gonna help Mom clear up and then I'll be right there. Go get dressed and we can go outside.
Morgan: Ok. Thanks for breakfast Mommy.
Pepper: Your welcome honey.
Morgan runs upstairs to her room and gets dressed
Y/n helps Pepper wash the dishes and then waits on the porch for Morgan
Morgan walks outside
Y/n and Morgan play outside in Morgans tent area
Eventually Tony comes back
Y/n walks over to him
Y/n: How'd it go?
Tony: Pep told you huh?
Y/n: I asked where you were.
Tony: I'm sorry I didn't bring you I just--
Y/n: Mom told me why you didn't. I get it. You wanted to protect and that's fine. And I won't hold it against you but you could've told me.
Tony: I know. Next time I will.
Y/n: Thank you.
There's a silence
Y/n: How was she?
Tony: More quiet than anything. I think she misses you kid.
Y/n: I miss her too.
Tony: I'm gonna go back and help tomorrow. We just need an update from the Rocket and Bruce that they've got Thor on board with the plan as well.
Y/n: The Racoon?
Tony: The Racoon from space who says he's not a Racoon. Yeah.
Y/n: * chuckles lightly* I like that little guy. He's cool.
Tony: Yeah. Alright I'll be inside. Come in when Morgan gets tired out.
Y/n: Yeah I will.
Tony goes inside
