There is this term, 'But friends don't look at friends that way.',
well we aren't even friends though this gaze of yours tells me all we'd have if we could make this stay.

I don't think we knew yet how much the world has waited for us to meet,
but the moon shushed the wind to keep quiet as I saw your goddess face for the first time we'd greet.

Your eyes piercing, yet so soft their brown shadow on my face,
your smile feels like fire on my cold skin as you laugh and I incidentally met your gaze.

I look at you and see the sun, your all a reference to the entirety of Greek gods to ever exist,
you look at me and see the stars in my eyes as I sit there in awe as you're making my emotions twist.

I believe you don't know these stars pertain to you and thy appearance makes them glow,
I suppose you just casually smile, nothing special, and you don't even want to know.

But once again the moon shushes the world to keep quiet. To wait from afar.
And your sun lights up the littlest candle of hope inside me. Hope, that you would emerge to be what I need; And not leave a scar.
