meiling was home, sick. her head was spinning all and she was on the verge of throwing up all day. her body was weak and it took all of her effort to even walk to the bathroom on the other side of her room.
seungcheol would have taken care of her, evident by the raw pain in his face when he said goodbye to her. he had to go to a shoot for the group since a few members, including meiling, were not there. she didn't mind though. work is work, even with a sick fiancée.
with nothing better to do, meiling spent most of her day idly scrolling through her phone. by mid day, she felt like she had already watched all the content tiktok, youtube, netflix, and instagram had to offer.
she was slightly surprised when mingyu's contact popped up, calling her. he already wished her a speedy recovery and he was in the middle of filming with the rest of the group. what could he need? she assumed he was calling her for something to do with the content, and decided to let it ring.
