One night, Annabeth is sleeping over at Percy's during the summer. Percy has a nightmare and wakes up in a cold sweat. He looks at Ananbeth and sees her sleeping peacefully. He debates whether or not to wake her up. He catches tears forming in his eyes as he thinks about his nightmare and gently shakes Annabeth. She slowly wakes up and looks at him. She notices the tears in his eyes and sits up. "What's wrong?" She asks. Percy doesn't reply. Instead, he hugs Annabeth and cries into her chest, the same way she cried when she met the sirens. She held Percy for a couple of minutes. "It's okay. It was just a nightmare," she says calmly. He looked up at her and smiled, relived that his nightmare wasn't real. "Come on Seaweed Brain, let's go back to sleep," she ruffled his hair and layer back down. He layed back down as well. He wrapped his arms around her waist and buried his head in her chest. She was taken aback at first, but she let him and started playing with his hair. They fell asleep in that exact position.
