"Where are we going?" Iris asked Alan as they left the school.

"I was hoping you'd come to my place and help me with my homework," Alan said. Iris furrowed her brows as she looked at him. "Kidding! I'm taking you for ice cream. Considering it's the end of September, it's really warm."

"Right? I had such a cute outfit planned for today, then it decided to be stupidly hot, and now I'm in shorts."

Alan looked her up and down. "I'm not complaining." Iris hit him in the arm. "Ow! I'm just kidding! Promise."

"Don't let it happen again."

"You know, you really pack a punch?"

"You surprised?"

"You're pretty skinny. You've got the punch of John Cena."

"What can I say? Strong dad."

A girl having a tough dad was every man's nightmare when there were interested in her. It seems Alan would have to play his cards right.

Tom came back pretty quickly, while everyone was still sat at the lunch table.

"That was quick," Bill said.

"Turns out I had a spare pair in my car," Tom shrugged.

Maggie looked at him, confused, "Why do you have a spare pair of pants in your car?"

"Just in case someone spills coke on my," Tom sat down next to Gigi as he jokingly glared at her.

"I'm-"

"Don't say sorry again, I'm kidding."

Georg had been gone from the table, and was now coming back with a leaflet. "Party," he said.

"Again?" Gustav asked, "That's the third one this month."

"I guess everyone shaving as many party's as possible before October. Everyone wants to host parties, no one wants to host Halloween parties. Decorating is expensive. Anyway, this Saturday, we going?"

Everyone agreed to go, and Maggie texted Iris to make sure.

"Wait, do people here have Halloween parties all October?" Gigi asked. Everyone nodded. "I'm gonna need so many costumes."

"What makes you think they're gonna invite you?" Tom asked.

"Look at me, John."

"It's okay, Gigi," Maggie said, "You only really need a costume for the main Halloween party, the one on actual Halloween. Or the one closest to Halloween if it's a weekday."

Tom turned to Gigi. "You should be a playmate." Georg slapped him in the arm.
