~Chapter 17~

(3rd POV)

It was now the later hours of the day, or should I say, evening. Probably about 11 pm Orion thought. He had been talking to
Y/D for a few hours now. He noticed she seemed to be getting drowsy and her optics were slowly offlining.

Y/D would almost fall asleep standing up besides him and then she would lightly shake her helm and quickly make herself online again.

"Perhaps you should go get some recharge?" Orion suggested to the f/c-colored femme.
"No no... I'm fine-" She paused, leaving her intake open to let out a small yawn. "I'll be fine."
"Are you sure?" Orion gave Y/D a bit of a look.
"Of course... Thanks for worrying, but really. I'll be fine. Besides, are you just going to keep working? You need recharge too."

The taller mech chuckled and gently patted Y/D's helm.
"Thank you for your concern, but I'd rather you get some recharge while I keep working. Megatronus gave me some more work and I'd like to get it done."
Y/D slightly scoffed and shook her helm.
"You need sleep too. ... How about this? I'll go get some recharge if you also get recharged."

"Hm..." Orion seemed to think about it for a few seconds. "Maybe later. For now, I want to get this last paragraph translated."

Y/D sighed and sat down on Orion's berth he had in his workspace. (I mean, if he didn't in the show and stuff... He has one now-) Orion continued working on the computer until he finally looked over, seeing the femme asleep on his berth.

(Orion's POV)

I looked over to see Y/D was asleep on my berth. She seemed so peaceful and sweet. I let out a small yawn just watching her recharging herself.
Perhaps a little bit of recharge wouldn't hurt... I thought before turning my computers off and walking over, carefully placing myself on my berth besides Y/D.

It's a bit odd though... I feel so weird whenever I'm near her. My spark seems to speed up its rate. I know I have a checkup tomorrow... Maybe I'll check this with Knockout to make sure I'm alright.

(3rd POV)

In the morning, a certain cherry red mech walked down the hallways and to Orion's workroom. When the doors slid open, the medic almost gasped loudly, but instead, he stayed calm and waited, seeing Orion was already awake.

Orion carefully stood up, then softly brushed his servo against
Y/D's helm and then placed a gentle kiss on her forehealm. Knockout didn't know whether to ship it, or sink the ship and tell Megatron. ... Forget it, he had a new ship and he was going to continue sailing it. But he couldn't believe that one of his closest friends hadn't told them of their newly developed crush.

"Hello. I assume you're here for my checkup, correct?" Orion walked up to Knockout.
"Yes... I see you finally got a decent amount of recharge." Knockout said with a twinkle of amusement in his optics.
"... I would prefer if you didn't say a word about what you've seen to anyone."
"Of course~" The cherry red medic said with a slight smirk. "Now, if we could get your checkup done?"
Orion nodded his helm, following KO to a separate room so they wouldn't accidentally disturb you.

~After the checkup~

(Y/D's POV)

I woke up in an unknown berth, slowly sitting up and looking around.
"I see you're awake. Did you have a good recharge?"
I looked up to see Orion standing at the computers.
"Yeah actually... Did you?" I said raising an optic ridge at him.
"Yes. I got some recharge soon after you started yours."

I smiled and stood up.
"Have you refueled yet?"
"Not yet. Would you like me to go and get us some cubes?"
"No no... I'll get us some."

I was walking down the hall to the energon storage when I felt my arm pulled in from the door I was passing. I didn't yell or anything as I looked down to see a familiar shade of red paint.

"Knockout? What are you-"
"When were you going to tell me?!" He whisper yelled at me. "I'm your best friend! You should've told me by now!"
"Told you what?" I gave KO a confused look, scanning him up and down.
"You like him, don't you? And don't try to deny it either!"
"Like who?! And what are you on about now?"

Knockout let out a sigh that sounded sorta annoyed.
"You and Optim- ... Orion. You. And. Orion."
"Look. I love you KO, but I have no idea what you're talking about."

Another sigh. And then, a Cybertronian phone was shown to me with a picture on the screen of me and Orion asleep together.
"What?! How'd you get that and when did that happen?!" I felt my faceplates heat up, and Knockout smirked, looking at my now blue face.
"So it's true then?"
