A few months had passed since Rebekah became a part of Lyra and Dudley's family, and the bonds between them had only grown stronger. Dudley's 11th birthday was approaching, and the anticipation in the household was palpable. Dudley knew he would be receiving his Hogwarts letter soon, but he was determined to enjoy his final days at Mystic Falls Primary with his friends.

As the big day (July 23rd )drew closer, Dudley decided to invite all the children from their quaint town to his birthday party. He wanted to make it a memorable celebration before he embarked on his magical journey at Hogwarts. With the help of his family, they prepared for a grand gathering. The backyard was adorned with colorful balloons, streamers, and a long table filled with delicious treats. Lyra and Petunia had been busy baking a variety of cakes and cookies, while Vernon manned the barbecue, grilling up an array of mouthwatering dishes. The day of the party arrived, and the sun shone brightly in the clear sky. Children from Mystic Falls Primary began to arrive, their faces lit up with excitement. Dudley greeted each of them with a smile, thrilled to spend his special day with all his friends. The day was filled with laughter and games as the children played together. They ran around the yard, joined in on relay races, and tested their skills in sack races. The joyful sounds of children having a good time filled the air, and the atmosphere was one of pure happiness. Dudley was at the center of it all, wearing a wide grin as he reveled in the joy of his last day with his friends before embarking on his magical adventure. The party continued with a picnic lunch, followed by games of tag and hide-and-seek, ensuring that everyone had a fantastic time.

Amidst the laughter and games, the sudden screams of Lyra sent a shockwave of panic through the birthday party. Dudley's heart raced, and he rushed over to find his sister, Lyra, on the ground, being pushed and taunted by Caroline, Elena, and Bonnie – the same girls who had bullied her at school.

The joyous atmosphere quickly turned tense as the other children watched in shock and confusion, unsure of how to react. Dudley's face contorted with a mix of anger and concern as he stood between his sister and the bullies. "What's your problem?" he demanded, his voice shaking with anger. "Why can't you just leave her alone?" Caroline, Elena, and Bonnie exchanged smug glances before Caroline sneered, "We told her to watch her back, and it looks like she didn't listen. Maybe she should've been more obedient." Lyra, her face flushed with humiliation and anger, struggled to her feet. Her brother's presence gave her a sense of security, but she was tired of being a victim. She glared at her tormentors and found her voice. "I'm done with your bullying. I won't let you control my life anymore." Dudley and Lyra's brave stand inspired the other children, who began to murmur in agreement and disapproval of the bullies' actions.

The atmosphere shifted, and the three girls realized that their usual tactics of intimidation were losing their effectiveness. Vernon and Rebekah, alerted by the commotion, rushed to the scene. Rebekah's eyes bore into the bullies, a powerful aura of authority surrounding her. She said in a calm but commanding tone, "Bullying has no place here. This is a day of celebration, not cruelty." Caroline, Elena, and Bonnie, no longer finding any support among the children, slunk away, defeated and humiliated. Dudley helped Lyra to her feet, and their family and friends gathered around to support them, ensuring that the rest of the birthday party would be a joyful occasion once again.

The incident, though troubling, reinforced the bond within the family and their friendships. With the bullies gone, Dudley's birthday party continued with renewed cheer and a deeper sense of unity among the guests, proving that love and support could overcome even the harshest of challenges.

As Dudley's birthday party came to an end, the guests said their goodbyes and headed home after having given their gifts to the birthday boy. The Dursleys, along with Rebekah, returned home, their hearts still filled with the joy and warmth of the day. Upon entering their living room, they were met with an unexpected sight.

A majestic black owl with shimmering golden specks in its eyes was perched on the table, hooting softly. In its beak, it held a parchment envelope bearing the unmistakable seal of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Dudley's eyes widened with excitement, and he hurried over to the owl to retrieve the letter. He carefully unsealed it and began to read the contents.

The room was filled with anticipation as the family gathered around, waiting to hear the news. With a bright smile, Dudley looked up at his family. "It's here! I've got my Hogwarts letter!" he exclaimed. Rebekah and the Dursleys shared in Dudley's joy and pride. The moment they had been waiting for had finally arrived. Dudley would soon embark on his magical journey, joining his sister Lyra in the enchanting world of wizards and witches.

The owl hooted once more, as if in celebration, before it gracefully took flight and disappeared into the night. Dudley held his acceptance letter close to his heart, knowing that the adventure of a lifetime awaited him at Hogwarts, and that he would continue to make his family proud in this new chapter of his life.
