A chill crept through the operating room, despite the warm air and bright lights. The patient lay on the hospital bed, surrounded by monitors making beep sounds, it was noisy, but it at least gave him something to listen through this silence. he travelled his eyes around the room taking a good look around, the room was bright and clean just like a regular hospital room was, he looked over at the clock, it was 2:04pm, and His brother, BandiRue, stood by his side, gripping his hand tightly which then caught his attention,

"Look at you," The patient with dyed blonde hair murmurs, his voice breaking the silence with soft giggles, ''You're more nervous than the patient itself, eh.?''

"I know," his brother responds, his voice soft but full of reassurance although a bit of quivering with fear in his voice. He gently takes his brother's hand and gives it a squeeze. "I'm worried you won't make it" he frowns

"Don't think that, I assure you everything will be fine, just like last time. right?" the patient asks, his eyes filled with the weight of uncertainty. ''It's just a quick surgery, everything will be over soon, I promise.'' he held his hands and gave him a reassuring smile,

"I hope so, you will," his brother replies, his tone filled with uncertainty, mostly with hope. his words were dry, he couldn't get anything else out his mouth

Even with these words of comfort, they both still shared an anxiety that still seems to grow.

-- 1:38 AM --

"I'm sorry to inform you," the nurse's voice is solemn and heavy with grief, "but your brother passed away during the heart surgery."

The brother's heart sank, a deep sorrow welling up inside him. how could he let this happen? how did this happen? they just made a promise a few hours ago. what happened? his mind was full, he was silent. but his brain was this loud enough to silence him on the outside.

"May I see him one last time?" he finally spoke through tears.

The nurse nodded, and they made their way to the recovery room, where his brother lay, surrounded by medical machines and equipment. The brother's gaze fell upon his brother's lifeless body, and a lump formed in his throat. he held his hand one last time and gave it a quick squeeze, he can't cry. not right now.

Another nurse interrupting the moment of silence,

''Someone please help! Someone is burning in the cremate room!'' The nurse caught her attention and rushing forward with the other medical teams, still, it did not bother him, not one bit,

he kept his head down and let go of his brother's hand, who lay lifeless.

he slowly formed a smile on his face and hid the lighter in his pockets.

-Hello everyone! this is my first time wring a story and i don't really know how to write a proper book. I'm sorry if this story will turn out bad! also there will be bad grammar (i guess)

I'm very excited to publish this, I will try my best to update this book often (and also make chapters longers)
