Madeline sat in the on call room as she sat getting ready. She sat on the neck opposite Meredith and looked to her and frowned

"are you okay" Madeline asked as Cristina came rushing into the locker room ranting

"He's acting like I kept my apartment to hide stolen goods so I can do illegal transactions for money" Cristina ranted as Madeline looked to them and rolled her eyes as she made her contact with nova

"Are you sure he's just not acting like you lied about moving in?" Meredith as Cristina makes a face

"Ok, what's wrong with you?" Cristina asked

"my thoughts exactly" Madeline as as Meredith looked to them

"My mommy's a filthy whore" Meredith said as Madeline and nova held a look

"And they call me a whore with what happened with Derek" nova said as Madeline looked to her and smiled. She felt bad for what nova had been through because of her brother. She had been pregnant at the time and even lost a baby and Madeline knew that she wanted to kill her brother because of it

"we have rounds" Madeline said as she stood up and walked out as they rounded. Madeline walked into the patient room as Meredith started to present the file case

"Chuck Eaton. 54. Has stage 3B non small cell lung cancer with possible invasion of the pleura. And a history of COPD. He's had extensive chemo-radiotherapy with minimal regression of the tumor. He's been admitted for radical and block re-section" Meredith said as Chuck looked to them

"I was a smoker. The ah oncologist, he explained that I have a 25% chance of surviving the surgery" he said

"Well unfortunately that's about right. If you should elect not to proceed we can make you more comfortable" Burke said

"With all do respect ah- there's no way you can make a man dying a slow death comfortable. I'll roll the dice" chuck said as she looked to him and smiled sympathetically

Madeline walked out of the room and smiled as she saw Bailey as she stood with baby tuck

"He's adorable" nova said as Madeline smiled

"Are the OR's up and running?" Bailey asked

"Ah yeah fully functional. Except there's some smoke damage to the corridor" Madeline said refer to the bomb that had gone off the previous week

"How bout you? You fully functional?" Bailey asked Meredith who nodded

  "I'm fine. How's your husband?"

"Take him home tomorrow. Yes we are. Yeah. Yeah" Bailey said to baby tuck who cooed

"Oh, you're cute. I know you are" izzie said

"Okay this is not a tea party. Go work. Save some lives" Bailey said the group of interns rushed off at her order

Madeline walked into a patient room with Cristina and smiled as she saw her brother

"Jake Burton. 15. Has advanced craniodiaphyseal dysplasia. Was admitted last night after complaining of headaches" Madeline said
