the next day, we woke up quite late in the day. we went and had breakfast and i packed up all my things. 

i put everything in leah's car and left my car key for ollie. 

"bye mum, i'll see you at christmas" i said. i hugged her and kissed her cheek. 

"bye linda, see you soon" leah said, hugging my mum. 

"see you leah. take care of her for me." mum said. 

"i will" leah nodded. 

we were walking to the car when leah stopped me. 

"wait" she said loudly. 

"what's happened" i panicked.

"i need to open the door for you" she said. she quickly jogged towards the car and held the door open. 

"what a gentleman" i laughed. i kissed her cheek and got in the car. 

"leah your so cute, this is why i love you" i said as she got in. 

we waved at my mum and drove away. 

as we drove, we played songs and sung along. 

i noticed leah moving her hand towards my leg but never touching me. she looked a little nervous. 

i held her hand and kissed it before placing it on my thigh. 

i looked at her and she smiled slightly. 

i turned the radio down and leah looked at me. 

"what's wrong darling?" she asked. 

"leah what are we?" i asked

"well what do you want us to be?" she asked.

"i don't know" i said quietly. "what do you want us to be?" 

"i want us to be together, forever. i want us to be lovers, i want us to be happy. i want us to be family. i just want you" she said. i smiled. 

"i want us to be together. but i want things to be slow. we don't have a reason to rush things. we screwed things up last time, it can't happen again" i said. 

"so soph, will you be my girlfriend again, officially" leah asked. 

"i would love to leah" i said. 

we turned the music back up and sang along. 

we stopped at a service station for lunch. 

we went to burger king and ate. then we got back in the car and continued our journey home. 

we arrived at around 5. 

"finally" i sighed, walking through the door. 

i sat myself down on the sofa and leah brought my bag inside. 

"soph, are you going to fully move back in soon?" she asked. 

"hopefully. i'll be sad to leave lotte though. maybe this week i'll bring my things back" i said.

leah nodded and took my suitcase upstairs. 

leah came downstairs and i was watching brooklyn 99. 

"what do you want for dinner?" she asked. 

"erm whatever" i said.

"helpful" she said 

"surprise me" i said and she went into the kitchen. 

after a couple of episodes, i went to check on leah. 

"smells lovely" i said. 

i stood behind her and put my hands at her hips. i leaned into her back and rested my head on her shoulder. 

i slid my hands into her shirt and let my fingers wander across her abs. 

"darling?" leah laughed. 

"what? i missed your body, is that a crime. don't say you haven't missed mine because i know you have. i love your abs. they're so sexy" i said. 

"well i'm glad you like my body" she smiled. 

"call me when dinners done" i said. i kissed her cheek and then went upstairs. 

i emptied my suitcase and put my clothes in the washing machine. i went back upstairs and put some more things away. 

i noticed that my bed wasn't made and leah's laptop was on my bed. she must have been sleeping in here. 

i put everything away and leah called me down. 

we ate our food. 

"leah, have you been sleeping in my bed?" i asked. 

"oh erm. sometimes. i tried not to but some nights i couldn't sleep. whenever that happened i slept in your room. it made me feel a sense of comfort or something. it's silly i know but it worked" she said.

"it's not silly baby. i think your a cutie" i said. 

after we ate, we sat on the sofa and watched a movie. i felt myself getting sleepy in leah's arms. 

"le, i'm going to bed. good night" i said. i went upstairs and got myself ready for bed. 

i have no clothes to wear because i put everything in the wash. i went to leah's room and got one of her oversized shirts. 

i put that on and got into bed with no pants. 

i tossed and turned but couldn't sleep. 

i heard leah come upstairs around half an hour ago but she didn't come to my room. 

i sighed and got up. i went to the door and opened it. leah was stood there about to knock. 

"i'm getting deja vu here" i laughed. 

"cant sleep either?" she asked. i shook my head. 

"sleep here?" i said. she nodded and followed me into my room. 

we both got into bed. i rested my head on her shoulder and put my arm at her neck. 

she grabbed my leg and pulled it up so it was resting across hers. she wrapped both arms around me and placed one hand at my back, under my shirt, and one on my bum. 

"is this okay?" she asked. 

"yeah" i said quietly. 

"i love you darling" she said. 

"i love you leah" i whispered. i kissed her neck and closed my eyes. 

i felt so safe in her arms. nothing could hurt me. everything feels right. 

i'm at home, in the arms of the woman i love most. nothing can beat this feeling. 

it's a warm feeling. a feeling of happiness and joy. 

i feel whole again, like a piece of me was missing but now i'm with her, everything is here. 

with her, nothing else matters. i feel at peace.
