Instinctively, my body decided for me and I placed my hand on his in attempt to calm him. The moment my skin touched his, shivers ran through my whole body and we both froze in place, staring at our intertwined fingers, which fit together somehow perfectly... as if they were made for each other.
I felt him caress my hand gently with his thumb, and his body visibly calmed from the contact between us, which gave him the courage to speak.
