Your people were once vigilant but they have left you destitute, making profit off you. You were once religious but now you're theology. You were once quite beautiful, a wonder to the world, but now you're another boring field trip, a magnet on a fridge, a t-shirt design that wears off as it is washed over and over again.

At least you're still visited and loved, by those who know of your significance to those above.
