Used to ...

I used to have enthusiasm to be myself, but now I watch my every move and word.

I used to love only a few genres of books, but now I will read almost anything.

I used to do things that made me happy, but now I do what has to be done.

I used to take things for granted, but now I try to thank God always.

I used to know what to do, but now I'm confused all the time.

I used to not care what I ate, but now I watch my weight.

I used to play make believe, but now I write it down.

I used to write on paper, but now I write on keys.

I used to stay up very late at night, but now I don't.

I used to believe in everyone, but now I double check.

I used to help my mom make cookies, but now I watch her.

I used to ride my bike everyday, but now I drive a  car everyday.

I used to watch my siblings play, but now I watch them make mistakes.

I used to think life was simple, but now I'm bracing myself for each new day.

I used to like playing with babydolls, but now I'm scared to have one of my own.
