A few hours of conversation goes by and the storm eventually passes. "The storm has passed, but it is now nighttime" Says Wæsfaðir. "That is no problem" Says Eynræð wanting to escape the unending gospel of Wæsfaðir. "I guess I'll keep on my way" making his way towards the door. "Do not leave at this time!" Wæsfaðirs voice booms. "Why not?" Asks Eynræð. "Because, I counsel thee, weary traveler. One mustn't walk forest paths at night. For the Hárí will lead you astray and you will be lost in the forest for eternity" Says Wæsfaðir sternly, with a hint of fear in his voice. "Do you, a Wiseman such as yourself believe in that superstitious nonsense?" Asks Eynræð in a mocking tone. "If you yourself are wise, you will wait until daybreak to continue your travels", But Eynræð wasn't listening. He leaves the cabin and continues down the forest path.
