What just happened? Who was that nightmare creature, and why was it after us?" Yehezqel lowered the Nexus Crystal and turned to face Jacob, his expression serious. "That was Adam, a manifestation of your inner fears and doubts. He seeks to consume your essence, for reasons that I'm still unraveling. The darkness within him mirrors your own inner turmoil, Jacob." Jacob's eyes widened as he tried to comprehend the gravity of the situation. "My inner fears? My doubts? But... I don't understand. Why did this happen? And how did you become so powerful all of a sudden?" Yehezqel sighed and sheathed his ice-gold sword. "I didn't become powerful, Jacob. What you witnessed was my true form, a guardian of the timeline. My purpose is to protect it and ensure that the Nexus Crystal remains in safe hands. The powers I used are part of my inherent abilities." Enzo, still trying to recover from the shock of the encounter, spoke up, his voice shaking, "So, you're here to help us control the Nexus Crystal and restore balance to our world, right?" Yehezqel nodded. "That's correct. But it won't be an easy task. The Nexus Crystal holds immense power, and harnessing it is a complex and challenging process. Your journey to control its power has just begun." Oreveu and Epouchiom exchanged worried glances, and Oreveu's hand trembled slightly as she asked, "What about Adam? Is he gone for good?"The group absorbed this information, their faces reflecting a mix of awe and determination. Jacob, in particular, practiced with precision, the gestures of his "Shadows of Adam" skill which summons ghostly purple extended hands behind his back, becoming more fluid with each attempt, he had also acquired "Adam's Apple" which can harness the soul of people it wishes to.
