[Kenny's P.o.v]
"I'll see you tomorrow angel," I pecked her lips.
She sent me an angelic smile, and I could feel my heart race. "I'm gonna miss you," She pouted.
"I'll miss you more," I held her close to my body. Her gleaming (e/c) eyes stared up at me, and I could feel myself become weak. I could never say no to those eyes, I can't even bring myself to look away.
I love you (Y/n).
I have been in love with you for the longest time, but I haven't been able to tell you. The timing just isn't right. Who wants their first 'I love you' to be in a school bus, or in a fucking school, or hell, right in her house. It has to be special. I have to make it special because this is the first time I've actually meant 'I love you' for a girl.
"Don't go..." She mumbled, burying her face in my chest.
"It's late angel, you know I have to," I said, kissing the top of her head. She looked up at me and frowned. Even her frowny face is so cute. How can I say no to her?
"Call me before you sleep," She said.
"I will,"
She pulled away from me and stood by the door. "Bye Kenny,"
Just as I was about to take my leave, her cat came by her side and rubbed himself against her legs. She picked up Concrete and held his paws in her arms.
"Adiós Senor Kenny!" She said in a cat voice, while using Concrete's paw to wave at me.
I laughed at her and took my leave. Before I left, she insisted she drop me off with her car, but I don't like the idea of her driving late at night. The town isn't as dangerous as it used to be, but still. I don't want to risk any chances of her getting hurt. She's starting to become more and more important to me. I can't imagine living without her. Hell, I literally CAN'T imagine living without her. I'd actually be dead.
As I arrived at my house, I unlocked the door and came in. Immediately, I was met with the sounds of yelling.
"Fuck you Dad! You're a drunk piece of shit!"
"Yeah, act like you're not high out of your mind Kevin! When did you grow the balls to start talking to me like that!" He shouted at him.
He's always been like that. Kevin always fought with our dad more than anyone, well... not more than mom. I looked around and saw Mom come out of the kitchen, holding Karen's hand.
"Kenny!" She ran up to me and hugged me. She cried into my arms, as Kevin and Dad kept fighting.
"You're both drunk pieces of shit! Just stop it, it's late!" She shouted, trying to get in between him.
"Dad lost his job again!" He shouted angrily.
"And you're any better?!"
"My job is stable!" He fired back.
"Well Kevin, robots aren't replacing mechanics yet! But one day they fucking will, and don't come running to me for help when you need a job!"
Amazon fired my dad? I guess that was kind of expected.
"We started fighting because you asked ME for money! For what, to get drunk again?!" He pointed at the beer Dad was holding.
"It's okay, Karen, c'mon, I'll put you to bed," I picked her up and was about to take my leave until my Dad called out to me.
"Kenny! My good son! You have money for your ol' pops right?!"
"Dad, I'm not helping you get drunk," I said annoyedly.
