The forest was dark, yet very calming, but the ominous sound of owls overhead made something feel off... 'Where am I?' Jess thought as she looked around, she saw a giant maple tree and sitting in front of it was a short, dark building. It looked like someone had tried to hide the building and did a really bad job- She saw two figures standing in front of the building, it looked like the shorter of the two was yelling at the other, and i mean REALLY short, like, animal height. The short one started to look in Jess's direction and-
BANG! BANG!! BANG!!!
Pepper was banging pans together, she was already up and dressed for school. She was wearing a cute mint-green crop top and jean shorts, her outfit complemented her emerald green eyes and olive skin nicely. Her cat ears popped out of her black hair which was up in a bun, while her fluffy tail was flicking back and forth impatiently. She also had a blue-green sweater wrapped around her waist, it was a handmade gift from her friend Amber, shes worn it practically every day since she got it on her birthday the year before last. "Mom made blueberry pancakes and i WILL eat them all if you dont get up" she said. "Stop trying to get extra food, we both know it will never work" Jess mumbles. Pepper sighs and says "Just get up." "..Fine...." Jess groans, rolling her eyes.

Pepper leaves the room and Jess gets out of bed. She puts on an over sized My Hero Academia sweater and black sweat pants. She puts her dark purple hair in a messy ponytail and lets her scaly wings flap back and forth as she runs down the stairs. She gets downstairs and she eats her pancakes. "Thanks mom!" she yells as she grabs her backpack and leaves for school. "Your welcome dear!" Her mom calls back.
