(Done a bit of a medium sized chapter I would say)
————-
It had been a good few months since we had found the garden. I didn't even realise it was there when we had found a secret passage which lead to an underground secret garden, when we found it the only thing that was alive down there was the grass -and that was only just. The dark and cracked stone bricks was around the square garden providing an unstable wall. The roof was even worse, I have no idea how it was even still up because it was just dirt with one shoddy lantern in the middle of the medium-sized room.

The only reason I'm reminiscing about this is because when we had come across it I was going to originally tear it down for it being a safety hazard, after all it must have been unkept for around 5 centuries maybe even more as when I was still guarding that vexatious tree I was told that this castle as old as time, but Horror had said he wanted to repair the small area and make it into a beautiful and healthy garden. I only agreed so it could give him something to do because he only could have joy in cooking for so long before it became more akin to a chore than a hobby.

Once he had finished his repairs it looked brand new possibly even better than it had been, stones were dotted about to look like a pathway which lead to a bench, it's back faced the wall allowing, whoever sat down in it could feast their eyes upon the numerous amount of delightful flowers scattering around the ground that were tirelessly looked after by Horror. Bushes were in the four corners of the room, each being different in looks which changed almost weekly. With the help of a few other members, they had managed to build a small sunroof (well it was more of a moonroof due to it permanently being night here) in the middle of the room, thus getting rid of the need of lights.

It was wonderful, not just because it was a nice resting spot, but because it was also a give one of my boys a new hobby.

Horror loved the garden.

But good things always end in tragedy.

We were stuck spreading negativity for an awfully long time. Rests were rare for weeks no matter how much I tried to lessen the load on the boys they were always getting less than optimal sleep, which lead to a plethora of different issues.

It took a total of six weeks to fix the balance. The reason it took this long was because of just how much my brother's petty little friend group stepped in and tried to stop us. Which made the balance tip in his favour even more. Which lead to us having to spread negativity even more. Leading to more fights. More positivity.

It was annoying and frustrating, I swear Dream really needs someone to knock some more sense into his thick skull, but when it was all over we were all ecstatic to be getting back into our normal routine again.

A day after, we were all trying to get into the routine of things again, Horror had just come running up to the living room where we were all situated at the time, chatting about the most random of topics when suddenly the quite large skeleton came running through the door. The only emotion I could feel from him was sadness, and a lot more than usual too, before he shouted with fear and denial "The garden...it's." He interrupted himself with a bout of silence then he began to sob.

As soon as Horror had started to sob Dust had gotten up to and started to rub the back of the gentle giant to try to comfort him. That garden was one of the few things he seemed to enjoy so coming back to remember that he had neglected it for almost two months must be devastating.

"Horror what do the flowers look like, there is a chance we can fix them." I said in an attempt to calm him down further.

"Really?"Horror asked in between tears. "Yes really, now please get up and show us the damage." Once he gets up, with Dust beside him patting his back in an attempt to console him, he starts to walk down to the garden.

It only had taken a couple of days to revive the garden to it's former glory, and Horror has  been elated to finally have his garden be back to itself.

To think that even though it had been neglected six weeks and the flowers of the garden only took a few days to fix. If only it took such little time to fix other things.
